Ok, so I'm happy and I'm sad...

I check the weather again and happy because it is actually now showing only 1 day of possible rain, and sunny or cloudy but clear the rest of the time... but sad because I packed for generally cooler days and colder nights... but happy because then rain isn't going to impact us as much... but sad because I just went out and bought a stroller rain cover and ponchos for all of us (so we wouldn't fall prey to having to buy them there)... but happy because I didn't open the stroller cover and so I can just take it and if I don't use it, return it... sad because I also didn't open the ponchos but since I got it a the 99 cent store, don't know if I can return them... but happy because Jordan's TL day is now slated to be 77 degrees... but sad because I'm wondering if I need to rethink some of the clothing choices... happy that I am now 96% done packing... sad that I might have just set myself back several percentage points (especially if I tell DH who for sure will now want to take more shorts and I am running tight on the suitcase space and I want to leave some for potential souvies coming home.)

Ohhhhh, the ups and downs of it all. Sigh.

Wendy, your so stinkin cute. You sound like I would be if I were in your shoes right now. Don't sweat it, as G.B. says...Don't sweat the small stuff....By the way it's all small stuff. In the grand scheme of things, you'll have a great time and won't even remember you even thought of this once your there.
Have a wonderful trip Wendy, and kiss those babies, take lots of pictures of Ashlyn's first trip and remember....don't sweat the small stuff.

Chapter 84. Today's the day.

Okay so I leave for the airport in 2 hours. My friends taking me to the airport are picking me up at 10am PST for breakfast then dropping me off. Heavy rain is expected. I hope that doesn't affect my flight as I only have 40 minutes to make my connection in Vegas.

I need to run a few more errands and go through my packing list to make sure I have everything and then I am set to go!

TL love. My TL day is looking up! Temp forecast right now is 77! It's actually the warmest day in the 10 day forecast and no rain! Hopefully, that will hold up.

Some questions to discuss while I'm gone:

How many times will I actually go to ESPN?

What will be the photo themes of the trip?

Will my luggage make it there with me?

How many ADRS will get changed?

Will I complete the AKL/AKV trifecta?

Will Flying Fish get cancelled or find it's way back on the list?

Typhoon Lagoon--once, twice or three times?

How many rope drops will I make?

Will I get a lake view room in the 50s section at Pop or will I get sloppy seconds because i'm arriving around midnight?

What will be my "standard" view at AKV?

How many drunk stories will there be?

Which restroom will win my heart this trip? Does the Imagination restroom remain #1?

Movie? Yes or no?

Miniature Golf? Yes or no?

Will the crowds over president's weekend affect the trip at all?

How many days will it rain?

all these questions and more.... will be answered beginning Feb 18th.

You guys are so funny! Glad I could provide some amusement to an otherwise dreary thread (HA HA HA HA HA... ).

Yes, it's the irony of it all.... I'm used to warm FL weather, then I convinced myself that cool FL weather is ok too and then now it looks like I'm back to warmer FL weather. Cruel.

Anyway, I have all day to watch the weather report and make my final clothing decision by tonight... I have a feeling I'll be making some changes...
