Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I know!!! I can't wait for the day. We ARE at the point, though, that the two older pack their own carry on backpacks with whatever will keep them busy. So if they aren't happy, it's their own fault ::yes::

Right now they're pretty good about changes - I don't pack any more clothes for the kids than I would for ourselves so that's great... whew. Yes, the free bags are definitely something to go for... hence our other reason for having to get all five of us' clothes in one bag... because things like car seats and other stuff count as baggage too. Sigh. :confused3

One day...you won't have to check car seats or strollers..It makes traveling SO much easier!

Evening Peeps !! On the laundry subject I always do a few loads !! I have to agree with GB the laundry room at Pop is UNINSPIRING!:sad2: Not to mention the lack of seats !!But I have never had anyone steal my 'chonies ":lmao: or anything else for that matter:rotfl2:
Is there such a thing as an inspiring laundry room?

First time I'm flying Southwest after the whole charging for bags started...bags fly free...
Alaska is still 1st bag free...hope that's still the case in August or there goes half the souvenir budget!

:santa: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! NOT SURE IF I'LL BE BACK - CRAZY BUSY TOMORROW AND THURSDAY, THEN OFF TO TEXAS TO SEE THOSE BABIES!!! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY TIME! :santa:

Have a great time Tammie! Fly safe!

I must admit that I've been down the travel aisle...I am trying to get a mental checklist of things that I need for the trip...I am most interested in the 3 in 1 laundry detergent which I didn't see in the travel aisle section. Is it in the regular detergent section in travel size or were they just out in the travel aisle section? I must know..;)

Regular detergent section, I haven't seen travel sizes of these yet.

I'll do everything except personal items. Seriously. Drop it by my room and I letun to u room by five. Sank u so much. ;)

:rotfl: You crack me up! I have to agree with Wendy, an audio file would have been excellent.

As for the photo idea - I really like the "What the carp were they thinking?" idea. Everything from bad shoes to bad hair, to crazy moments.

I did the first load of laundry in our room, and used the box of Tide that was provided as "complimentary", figuring hey, we might as well use that first and save the stuff we paid for. Judy got upset with me because she didn't want to use the Tide because of our oldest daughter's allergies...she wanted me to use the Purex "free and clear" or whatever it was, that she had bought. (No good deed goes unpunished?)
I guess my purex wasn't free and clear of something..
tide is one of the few things I can use that doesn't bother someone's skin...

Itching netherlands, pooper scoopers and thongs. It was an entertaining night on the Peeps TR!

:lmao: that sums it up nicely

Ditto on the limited time for the next few days issue!!

In case merriment wins over DISsing (which is sometimes one in the same), here's wishing you all---

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! It's good to know we're loved with an Everlasting Love sent down from Heaven!!

:lmao: This was seriously funny!

Hey Camille (sorry Jordan, here we go again, hijacking your post central thread) Sorry Jordy. :flower3: I love how he allows us to do this.
Imagine, someone you only know on the boards (actually, I think they did meet once?) doing your LAUNDRY!!>?>?:scared1::lmao: Uh, uh, not gonna happen.
If you want to read THE funniest laundry story EVER go:
HERE
 I know! I love this story! I knew GB's PTR and TR's long before I found Jordy's reports...sorry Jordy....still friends?
I said the same thing before but then I realized how nice it is to return home with luggage full of clean clothes!! I absolutely HATE having a mound of laundry right after getting home from vacation. :sad2:
Can't argue this point, but I think I will stick to doing no laundry on vaca. I always take a bottle or two of the ALL concentrate, found in the beloved travel isle in Target  of course. (incase I have to do laundry)By the way...I found this is the Holy Grail of Lysol wipies in travel packs (carry them with me everywhere) of which you can't find anywhere else, and I mean anywhere, not even on the Lysol web site. :confused3 Sorry Jordy... I knew of this place before I knew your report, I found it before my first WDW trip and fell head over heals, seriously...who wouldn't?!?! Even so, the cute little bottles don't compel me to do laundry on vaca.

 Ha ha ha. I used to be the same way - DH and I used to take our own huge suitcases (one for each of us!) with outfits for every day, multiple times a day... but the more kids I got, with the more accessories (stroller, car seat, other stuff) they come with, the more "space economical" I had to go... so packing for only half to 1/3 of the trip, and do laundry while there... the suitcase that used to hold one person's clothes, now has to hold 5 peoples' clothes... sigh.

<sigh> Wait until your on the other end of the spectrum, because it means that your about to have one less child with you due to them growing up and about to go on their own way. <heavy sigh again>

I know!!! I can't wait for the day. We ARE at the point, though, that the two older pack their own carry on backpacks with whatever will keep them busy. So if they aren't happy, it's their own fault ::yes::
This is brilliant! I've always made my own kids pack their own backpacks, but I never put it into the context of saying..."If your bored, don't look to me...next time you'll have to do a better job of packing."

Dental floss doesn't count as laundry.....:rolleyes1
Have you ever worn them? Turst me they are far from dental floss, if they were it wouldn't hurt so much when they go up.......Oh never mind.

Tide is a very harsh detergent. One washing in it doesn't bother me, but multiple.....yikes....I gets welts ALL over.
Been there done that, but it was a long time ago. I don't know why I can use it now. I use to get major welts from Tide, I actually thought I was allergic to my boyfriend at the time. Wouldn't it have been funny if that was the reason we broke up?!?

I had a tag once, but it sounded kinda creepy so I deleted it. I must've made the tag fairy unhappy. :confused3
Ok, you've mentioned this before. You've gotta tell us what the tag said!

Yes that's another reason I always fly SWA!!!
Gotta love SWA. :lovestruc

:santa: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! NOT SURE IF I'LL BE BACK - CRAZY BUSY TOMORROW AND THURSDAY, THEN OFF TO TEXAS TO SEE THOSE BABIES!!! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY TIME! :santa:
Tammi, have yourself an amazing, blessed and safe Christmas. And kiss those babies!! :santa:

I couldn't have said it any better Liesa. Thank you and the same to you and yours.

Edited to say....Your my 900th post! :)

I had a flash on someone else's thread- glennbo was that yours?

How about this? Do a Man vs. Food challenge series of shots??

Eat something outrageous, then DO something even more outrageous. Let's see how Jordan handles it---------- or not.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You have one of the ones I'm doing this upcoming trip in your post...guess which one.....

Hmmm.... pics WITH peeps?

I have 2 words...

Teva Mush!

:thumbsup2
My favorite! I used to wear regular Teva sandals on our trips, but after I found the Mush flips, I fell in love!

Boy, I've missed quite a few pages here! I've been trying to work my way through a couple TRs I'd been meaning to get to (punkin413's, and eandesmom - I haven't posted yet, but I'm enjoying!) OH, and getting ready for Christmas, of course. In case I don't talk to you all before then...

Merry Christmas!! Have a blessed day!!

I'm glad we have a larger man contingent here than my last PTR/TR! Men of the DIS UNITE!

Underdog in da howse too!!!

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: For shame. How long have you been on these threads and you haven't learned that yet??? That is the very first cardinal rule in the "Jordan's PTRs for Dummies" book! We'll have to get that for you for Christmas. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Okay, Here you go:

I think we were on Dan's thread at the time...it started with talking about Whispering Canyon and the skillet and neverending milkshakes, then you mentioned the teacups and there ya go.

MAYBE we should just combine all of our PreTR into one and then we wont get confused to where what is being talked about.
:rotfl:

Not sure if I will be back on before Christmas, so I wanted to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas!

Regarding the flip flops...I am on my second pair of Montrail Molokini.....they are the "shake and bake" flip flops that you put in the oven to warm up and then wear them for a bit while your feet form to them. Soooo comfy :thumbsup2
Regarding the laundry....yes I do laundry too when on vacation. Always when I am in a one bedroom and this past trip the laundry at Kidani was right down the hall...I have a thing for freshly laundered clothes

I've seen it done, but it's almost harder to keep up on everyone's separate plans. It might have to be done for PeepFest2012.

Dan, hoping that you can join us in June 2012. I know you had talked about October of that year....
