That's a lot of poop
once again the tag fairy is truly missing out.
That's a lot of poop
Just looked at the Teva website...i like those!![]()
So, I tried out my new J. word yesterday on Kyoko. She completely cracked up when I said it, but then I busted myself with DH, when I had to explain where I learned it. OMGosh, we had a bust a gut moment over that!! (not the fact that I was on here again, but that i knew that J. word...)
I feel like I"m playing ring-around-the-rosie with all the late nighter/west coasters here. You know just making the rounds sort of gig! I LOVE IT!!
Anyway, thanks for the laugh. Anytime you need a Blank-a-Stani word, let me know; it's such a widely spoken lang., I know.![]()
I bought those a few months ago thinking they were cool. After doing a load of laundry that included d.jay's chonies, we discovered he's allergic to purex.![]()
Holy Chaffing Chonies Batman! I don't even want to know...disturbs my loins to even ponder such a thing!
Better than being a pooper scooper- which is what i will become next week when the 7 little darlings emerge from their mother-y world of doghouse.
You people have no clue how to vacation!
Laundry? NO WAY!!!! I'd take 15 pieces of luggage and wear food stained clothes again and again before doing laundry on vacation!![]()
maybe....I never thought about that....
I love folding clothes too after I'm done......so make your own conclusions.![]()
I'll do everything except personal items. Seriously. Drop it by my room and I letun to u room by five. Sank u so much.![]()
I"m so waffling on this laundry "issue". It's like what better place to do it if you have to. But, why do you "have to"- it's vacation for carp's sake!!
Then again, get a drinky-poo, sit by the pool a spell, and chill doing the laundry thing.

I don't trust my laundry alone....so I couldn't do that.
Me either. Some places have the laundry room literally AT the pool. So, you would be able to see if someone tried to make off with your stuff.
Edited to add....this is mostly at the "quiet" pools. Not the main pools.
Hey Camille (sorry Jordan, here we go again, hijacking your post central thread)
I just thought Jordan's post about doing her laundry was funny enough, I couldn't resist!! Imagine, someone you only know on the boards (actually, I think they did meet once?) doing your LAUNDRY!!>?>?![]()

Thanks for the shout out!You and GB. Liesa you may have sent more folks to GB's TR with that link. It is the best laundry story ever.

At OKW the washer/dryers are in the room....one of the perks we LOVE. We can throw a load in, in the morning and I can put them in the dryer when we come back for DS's nap mid-day. So there is no waiting around for it.
Ha ha ha. I used to be the same way - DH and I used to take our own huge suitcases (one for each of us!) with outfits for every day, multiple times a day... but the more kids I got, with the more accessories (stroller, car seat, other stuff) they come with, the more "space economical" I had to go... so packing for only half to 1/3 of the trip, and do laundry while there... the suitcase that used to hold one person's clothes, now has to hold 5 peoples' clothes... sigh.
![]()
Yeah, that's the only way to go - W/D in the rooms. Then you can be multi-tasking while kids are napping, resting, showering, sleeping, etc. And no charge for multiple loads (outside of laundry detergent) so you can do as little or as much as you want, when you want. So convenient. Gotta love those villas!![]()
Wendy, it gets a lot better when they can pack their own suitcases and cart them! And when they can get away with less changes of clothes too. Now I just give everyone a list and then check their choices. I maintain veto power.
It does get pricey at baggage check these days though. We now go out of our way to get tickets on "first bag flies free" airlines!
Yep! We love the villa's!! Sometimes mousekeeping will give us another free box of detergent each time they see that I've used one. I like when that happens!!![]()
Sorry you'll have to do your own thongs, Cherie.
I can't even begin to tell you what a teaser this post is when you still need to go back and read like six pages!
Liesa, seriously, this is the first post I had seen when popping into Jordy's thread, it sure made me want to read through the several pages I needed to, to understand why this hilarious statement was being made.Your such a funny gal. I'm glad to hear that you had a good weekend.
Sorry Mark (Jordy)for not posting besides this one, I know there are some good things to post about, but I'm just to pooped. I did all our wrapping and some shopping tonight for our Christmas dinner, visited a friend very late tonight and didn't get home until the wee hours. So naturally what do I do? I pop on the Dis boards at 3 in the morning to catch up on the posts I've missed, (to really see how Piper was doing). Now that's dedication people!
Nite, nite.

darn...
I thought you'd be thrilled.
I did the first load of laundry in our room, and used the box of Tide that was provided as "complimentary", figuring hey, we might as well use that first and save the stuff we paid for. Judy got upset with me because she didn't want to use the Tide because of our oldest daughter's allergies...she wanted me to use the Purex "free and clear" or whatever it was, that she had bought. (No good deed goes unpunished?)

They are the best. Mine must be 4 years old and are definitely going with us in August!
I said the same thing before but then I realized how nice it is to return home with luggage full of clean clothes!! I absolutely HATE having a mound of laundry right after getting home from vacation.![]()

When we stayed at POR I used the laundry room by the pool. That way I could lounge in the sun while our clothes washed. It really wasn't too bad of a deal.![]()

I'll do laundry if we are in a condo or at a villa but am a little weird about shared laundry facilities...
Thanks for the shout out!
Itching netherlands, pooper scoopers and thongs. It was an entertaining night on the Peeps TR!
Evening Peeps !! On the laundry subject I always do a few loads !! I have to agree with GB the laundry room at Pop is UNINSPIRING!Not to mention the lack of seats !!But I have never had anyone steal my 'chonies "
or anything else for that matter
Judy insisted on only 1 suitcase each in September which was sorta okay going other than unpacing from her suitcase to others as she was overweight !!Her suitcase I mean
Then when we came back the Fiasco started of course she had bought soooo much carp that it wouldn't fit and we were stuffing all our suitcases with her junk
I am bringing 2 bags in Feb !!! So there Judy

First time I'm flying Southwest after the whole charging for bags started...bags fly free...
just thought you should know....glennbo noticed that my dog is now imitating the famous jordan tongue pose over on my TR.![]()
