Carseats and strollers...shouldn't. What airline? Are you checking them at the gate? Or before? Check them at the gate...they shouldn't be counted as baggage. Oh wait, Airtrain? I think I've heard of that happening with them. But we've gate-checked things on SW, Virgin America, Alaska, Jet Blue...no charges.
Ahhh, no... strollers we check at the gate, but our car seats we put in a car seat carrier and check them in at baggage. We don't use them on the plane (and it's not the infant carrier type that fits with the stroller) so we don't want to lug them throughout the airport just to gate check them. But, we do throw other things in the bag too so we sort of use it as extra luggage anyway. That's why the car seats are counted as "baggage" for us. When they had first bag free, it was ok for us since we'd get 4-5 bags allotted for our family, so we could count those car seats as the "kids' pieces" since their clothes would be in our suitcase. But these days (depending on where we go - if we are renting a car) we'll typically have 3-4 pieces including the seats. For WDW, it's not bad b/c we only take luggage, since we don't rent a car. So this trip we *should* only have probably 2 pieces. Nice!

We are also debating about which stroller to bring - we just got a newer single stroller, but we also have the double. I am opting for the double only because even though the older kids should be old enough to walk, I'm envisioning us at the end of a long day and having to cross the walkwalk from the Contemporary to BLT and having to carry sleeping/whining children while still pushing another stroller... and with the double stroller, we can actually fit all three on there so I'm thinking at least for this trip, that's a better option.
Thoughts?
