Thanks for all the stroller advice! Yes, if we only had the older two, probably no stroller but if we have it, and if any ONE kid gets to ride (even Ashlyn) then all the other kids want to ride too... then we hear "no fair, i don't want to walk...." Ha ha.

So I am thinking the double it is...

Also, our single is pretty heavy duty, so it's actually not really that much smaller than the double... just not quite as long... but the width is pretty much the same...

I have now spent several days of work reading your trip reports (along with Winkers as well ) and I have finally decided to jump in and make a suggestion. I proudly display my green mickey head with my login name when I am at Disney but even if I see someone else with one, I never start a conversation. I am excited to see someone else as cool and in the know as myself but I don't want to interrupt their vacation time.

Maybe you could look for other disers and snap pictures?? Look for green mickey heads on bags, hotel room windows, strollers, etc. and just take pics to post here later?? You may be surprised how many of us are reading, and not posting!!

Some of you are like celebrities to the rest of us humble lurkers!

Anyway, just a thought. If you are checking in on 2/6 before 11am I would love to meet you in person! We check out that morning so I will be easy to spot as the one in the lobby crying her eyes out.

PS I am working on joining everyone for your birthday trip. I have to get this one completed before I bring it up to dh though!!

I am not as Famous as Jordan of course but I too will be at Pop the 4th thru the 11th!! At my ripe old age being chatty and imposing is acceptable ( humor the poor little old lady )I will go up to anyone with a Lime Green Mickey Head and soo far I've been right !! Also many have comeup to me !! (The harmless lttle old Lady again In Sept a Diser was talking to her hubby on the phone , saw my lime green TFW lanyard with a MH and hung up on him to talk to me !!!!!

I, too, have a reluctance to see if a person's a DISer. However, if they've posted on any of my PTR/TRs and I have seen a pic. I will stalk them..

I saw one person in 08 with Lime Green that had posted on my PTR, but he got away before I could say hi. Or maybe he was running from me. I get that alot.

In '07 I saw a big lime green mickey on someone's stroller at Chef Mickey's and I left a note - but I never heard anything.

I don't think it was as bad before, but now lime green is actually a color that many people wear so it's much harder to determine.

Chapter 64. What happens when you're really tired.

If you didn't already know, we are the end of December. It's been one crazy month--Christmas Program, Christmas Outreach and a speaking engagement. Of course, it's really not that much different than any other month, but it seems worse when you have a major holiday thrown in for good measure.

I'm extremely tired. So tired that I bought a new laptop. That's right I bought a new laptop.

Well let me back up. My roommate's laptop has been acting up lately. It's 5 years old and that's like 90 years old in human years. Last night, it took me forever to do what I needed to do on these boards and it was frustrating. The old laptop has randomly been turning off and not restarting.... I need a new computer I thought. With just over a month left before my trip, just think how many updates I need to do.....

So after work today, I went to BestBuy to purchase a new computer. However I did have a little help...........

Who has all the technical knowledge around these parts? Who out Peeps the original Peep?

So I PMed with an urgent request for help purchasing a new laptop. He called me and we chatted about what I was looking for in a laptop. He directed me to the Sony Vaio. He also said not to buy virus software in the store and not to get the extended warranty (I'll just send the computer to him for repairs). Off I went like the good listener that I am...and bam...new computer.

So the new computer was 729 plus the 100 bucks for word home software....I borrowed from the bank of my parents, but I did fork over some cashola as well. This leaves me in a bit of a budget crunch for my trip. But I will save that for the next update.

I hope I don't stay too tired. I may end up with a new house...

Great deal on the computator dude. I agree -- extended warranty = you minus $$ for nothing and them + $$ from suckers. As for antivirus software, get rid of Norton and McAfee. Download avg for free at avgfree.com and ad-aware at adaware.com. Both free. AVG updates for free as well. Best anti-virus software and anti-spyware software out there that I have seen thus far.

I also like your upgrades there. Considering the features, its not a bad choice spending the extra $$. I'll be standing buy for support calls. Just holler if u need something.

(Can't be as bad as the field call I went on when I worked for the state. Drove 120 miles to discover the office manager had plugged the server's surge protector into itself rather into the wall.)

I'm myself won't stay back this time...I'm totally going to walk up and say something to anyone with a LGMHPC-(Lime Green Mickey Head Paint Chips, for those who are wondering)! First time I went to WDW I looked for fellow Disers, but didn't find a single one, one found me , she yelled a ways away and got my attention. Her family was totally embarrased, but it was fun having my green tag recognized. I also put LGMHPC's in my room window with my Dis boards name on them......I ended up with a note on my door from a fellow diser, (not anyone one I knew) it was very sweet. Made my day!

Jordy!!! I'm so glad your back!!! I'm happy to see that you had a good time and you felt it went well. I'm anxious to hear all about it, and I love the picture.
I'm so proud to see men stepping up to the plate when it comes to faith...it's usually the women who do this, and as much as I love seeing the women who do this, I'm always more moved by the men who hear the calling on their hearts and move on it. Kudos to you hearing the Lord press on your heart to co-labor with Him for the Kingdom.

The one that comes to mind is maroo. She was sitting one time I think near Swiss Family and was on her iPhone. Some lady girl walked up to her and asked her, "Are you on the DIS"? Maroo completely freaked out, thinking she meant that she "knew" she was actually ON the DIS right then- just took it the wrong way probably. I think she really meant "do you DIS?" She quickly said no, and left.
