Just back from a stay at AKL/Kidani Village. We had a rental car and several times on our trip while heading from the resort to the parks we noticed pedestrians at the intersection of Sherberth Rd and Osceola Parkway. We assumed that they were staying at an offsite hotel nearby, trying to make their way to AK. This seems like a hazardous way to get to AK because of crossing highways (on foot!) Is there a pedestrian walkway to get to the park? No way would I try to cross those highways--with children no less! One family was pushing a stroller through the grass.
I could see someone looking at a map and thinking that the distance is walkable, but in reality you wouldn't want to risk it. Or is there a way to get to AK on a path that doesn't involve crossing the highway?
