I can't seem to find my super simple and delicious peanutbutter pie recipe. Does anyone have a favorite one? I have been looking on line, but can't seem to find the one I am looking for.
Do you remember what the ingredients were? This is the one I use....
Ingredients
8 ounce package cream cheese
2 cup confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup smooth peanut butter (I usually do a bit more)
2 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1/4 cup finely chopped peanuts
Directions
1.Whip the cream cheese until soft and fluffy. Beat in the sugar and peanut butter.
2.Fold whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture. Pour filling into the pie shell. Sprinkle pie with chopped peanuts. Chill until firm.
That's the same recipe I use, sometimes we add mini chocolate chips to the mixture, or sprinkle on top, or drizzle with chocolate syrup. OMG yum, now I have to rush off & make one!!!!!
I made a recipe I found on Paula Deens website that is very similar to this recipe, but it used real whipped cream. It was the easiest pie to make and was heavenly to eat. I would make it again in s heart beat. It was called Mrs. Salters peanut butter pie. Yum-o!
