Peak Season-Value Season?

Where can I find out when the peak season starts and ends? Also, if you are staying on site, should you buy your tickets after you arrive at your hotel or does it really matter for FOLP? Maybe you
just show your key card for FOLP? When do they offer pay for 3 nights and get the 4 for free? Sorry for so many questions. I"ve never been before. Thanks!
