Peak season/Off season?

Could anyone tell me or point me in the right direction to the peak season/off season dates at DL/DCA? I have a friend that wants to go sometime in September and I'm not sure if that's peak or off... or maybe the month is split?

At that time of year, peak season ends Aug. 27th so September is in the off season.
