Are you politically correct?

And I don't just mean about "merry christmas".

I mean in all forms of it.

I can say that I'm polite, but I'm not always politically correct.

The only way I can think that I'm politically correct, is that I call Indians Native Americans.

i guess i am sometimes but not all the times

That's apparently politically icorrect now also. It's "First Americans" because they aren't technically 'native.' The whole land bridge thing...
I think that political correctness is way out of proportion.

I have no idea. What does it mean to be politically correct?

No, not much. In a few things, sure. I, too, try to be polite. And I try (perhaps TOO hard) to not let my opinions and beliefs be known to others.

Yes extremely. I even say extra terrestrials not aliens. :rotfl2: It doesn't bother me if others aren't but I still am. If I want to hold a political office of any type I better start now.

Not at all. I say it how it has been for years, no happy holidays, I call them Indians, and I say "For the love of God!" alot)

I really don't pay attention to what's politically correct. I do and say what I feel I should.

Of course I'm politically correct because I have to be politically correct to be a descent person...I must!

Heh, in all honesty, I don't pay attention to it. I know not to say Oriental and a few other things that should not be said.

But basically, some people are white and some are black...erm...some are caucasian and some are African American.

we're studying "native americans" in school. so i guess i say that

and i can people from asia asian, not oriental. because oriental is a type of rug, not a person. unless this asian person likes to be stepped on, i perfer to not talk to them as if their a rug

Im not that politically correct. In fact, Im almost never politically correct. I call indians "indians" and say "merry christmas". I dont really pay attention to it.

Idk, i cant ever say i've ever tried that hard to be. Merry Christmas is waht i say because its what my family and a good portion of my friends all celebrate, it's always been indians, and ive never even heard of someone asian being referred to as oriental. and ive certanitly never referred to myself as caucasion cept for on those standardized tests where it asks you're ethnicty and it says caucasion/white.

Never.

With the exception of using the term African American. Though, what do you call one who's Canadian? It confuses me. the same thing? because techinally they are in america..
