We cancelled a reservation and had the deposit refunded via PayPal, the same way we paid it. The refund was $155.52, but we received $146.23 after it was converted to Canadian dollars. Considering our dollar is nearly at par with yours (1.00 CDN is worth .9844 USD) that conversion is low! Their site states that they use the rate in effect at the time of conversion, which is clearly baloney because we should have received $153.09 (less the .50 transaction fee). We lost nearly $6.00, which doesn't make sense to me!
