Paying for SW flights with giftcards?

Does anyone know how many forms of payment SW allows when purchasing a flight? I am considering buying SW giftcards with my eBay ebucks next pay out. For 2 family members I have 2 SW credits to apply when the flight price decreased. Another 2 have 1 credit. Assuming I will owe a small balance to be paid by cc, how many gc can I use to buy these 4 flights? I always book and purchase individually.

You can use up to 4 methods of payment (including GC, CC, and Travel Credits) on a SW reservation.

Thanks. So each travel credit is considered one form of payment, correct? That would mean I can only use one gift card if I am using a cc to pay the balance. (2 travel credits, 1 gift card, balance on cc)

You can always book everyone separately. One time I had a credit and a few gc's. I did one ways and everyone done individually so I could use all the smaller gcs and the credit. Will have to do the same next trip since we have 3 credits this time and some $25 gcs.

Depending on how many gift cards I have, I will either book 4 round trip flights or 8 one way flights.

Keep in mind when uou use a credit, the funds for that reservation take on the earliest expiration date of all funds used. I'm not sure if gift card funds apply to that rule though but definitely the cc funds exp date will match the exp date of your old credits.

I've kicked myself in the past for being so happy to use up a $10 credit only to find down the road that if I had to cancel last minute, I'd have a tiny window of opportunity to rebook later, and when considering our school schedule, an almost non-existent window.
