Paying dues with gift cards?

Thanks in advance for any help. I would like to pay my dues with gift cards. I called and was told that I can fax the cards in. Does anyone know if I can scan the fax and email the same information? Has anyone done this and to whom did they specifically send the email?

I put about 15 gift cards and a credit card payment into the account last night and paid my dues 15 minutes ago.

It worked great.

I just did the same thing as well! Consolidated 20 gift cards into the Disney Vacation Account, worked like a charm!!!

I did the DVA/Gift Card consolidation too.

And they're having a promotion where you'll get a $20 Gift Card for every $1,000 you spend from your DVA. The account has to be open for 120 days for you to receive your GC, but it's better than a kick in the a#%, no?

When I go in to setup my account it doesn't offer gift card as an option to fund it. It only offers debit or credit and I can't go to my account due to it saying I haven't setup my account.

The initial funding for the DVA must be from a credit/debit card. You should be able to open it with as little as $10 (maybe $20) on a credit/debit card.

I'm not sure about a brand new account; you may have to fund it with a minimum $10 contribution at first.

Look for the "One Time Contribution" button. There's a GC option there.

As others have said, but I can confirm as I did not have a DVA account until last night, you must initially fund it with a credit card.

I do not know the minimum amount.

I have a gift card leftover due to this, but I can use that for many MANY other expenses I will incur on my trip.

Opened my account yesterday. Started with $10 from credit card. Then added all my disney gift cards.
Called member accounting today and paid my dues only one number to give them.
Simple and easy!

Well on some gift cards the security code AND the last four of the gift card code needed to be scratched off. So make sure the number you are entering is 16 digits.

The other problem I ran into was I could not use my disney visa rewards redemption card for some reason, but again since I knew I would use it for other expenses I was not concerned with it, and just added more to the credit card deposit.
