Pay tax on pets?

We pay a license fee..... You have to have proof of rabies shot and then they "let" you pay the license fee and give you a tag.... If your dog is not spayed/neutered you pay an additional 35 bucks!

We pay a licensing fee, I think (maybe it's just his rabies tag). I know I've seen these fees in other states I've lived in.

There's no way I would pay a license fee or tax on my cats. EVER!

That's just stupid and money grubbing from the local government.

Unfortunately, there's no way around it. When you take them for a rabid shot, the county gets notified and sends you a bill for the license fee. Not an option to pay it.
