Patterns to packages/deals

Has anyone noticed a pattern to package deals. Does Disney tend to offer (i.e. free dining) a deal at certain times of the year or is there no pattern . Any thoughts?

Yes, there does seem to be a trend. During hurricane season. I believe the 7 for 4 deal was during peak hurricane season as is the free dining.

So.... does anyone remember there ever being any sort of deals for early December?!

In the last few years I don't recall any offers for the first part of December except maybe postcard codes and general codes. It seems we have yet to see any of those this year.

Have to agree with Cobbler above in that there are no deals for December. For the past two years they had 7 for 4 deal (2003) or 7/5 (2004) up through November (prior to week of Thanksgiving) but they haven't offered anything but free dining during Hurricane season this year.
