I know what you mean. We get this from my parents and friends. My dh always gets from work colleagues how can you afford it. We cant and they are on double Bruces wages. They forget is my job is shift work and working as a Nurse its tiring so we do not spend our money on social life. Ok we do go out at times and the kids are never without but we prefer to spend our money on a family holiday to WDW. My mum is like why dont you move to a bigger house or decorate this or that. The way Bruce and I think the kids will thank us for holidays and wont thank us for always decorating.
I love FL and this is where we always want to go.
What a Bl###y cheek what right does anyone ask how you can afford it.
People do not realise what sacrifices you/I may go through for the little luxuries in life. For me personally I live for my holidays and work hard long hours to achieve them.
As far as holidays are concerned I always thought that the main objective of a holiday was to get away from the normal stresses and strains of life and do what YOU want to do, and for us Florida and Disney fits the bill perfectly.
What is wrong with living a fantasy life for a few weeks a year and if others want to spend time in another resort laying by a pool all day drinking Tetley's Bitter then fair play to them, if that is what floats their boat.
What a boring place this world would be if we all enjoyed exactly the same type of holiday and how crowded those resorts would be.
Beef over I hope you spend many more holidays in Florida if that is where you choose to stay!!!!
