Ok I lied it's pretty straight forward.
Mon. 5/15: Le Cellier
Our ADR was for 5:50pm but we were in about 10 minutes early. I was surprised that the restaurant was not overly crowded. My dad was surprised because the wait staff was all from Canada. He figured it out a little while later. I had the 7oz filet and the cheese soup. Good stuff. Would certainly eat here again.
Tue. 5/16: Raglan Road
Our ADR was for 6:30pm but again we were seated early. I had the shepherd's pie, some goat cheese salad, and the bread and butter pudding for dessert. The food was good. I think the problem was we were on the dinning plan so we felt compelled to stuff our faces and left feeling over filled, and we were unable to enjoy the food. However, this is only time a really got this feeling so who knows.
Thur. 5/18: Boma
Loved this place. I think I must have tasted just about everything. My favorites were the watermelon rind salad and the zebra domes. The best part of the night, for my mom anyway, was that my dad had my brother and his wife fly in for the weekend. The look on her face was what Disney is all about.
Fri. 5/19: 50's Prime Time Cafe
Fun place for some good home cooking. Our waitress was in on the fun. Though she was playing more with the kids at the table next to us. Which is as it should be. I had the onion rings, the pot roast, and Dad's Super Sunday for dessert. I almost finished that bad boy too.
Sat 5/20: Jiko
Lovely atmosphere. The waiter we had was great. We all had the filet. I think the filet at Le Cellier was better, but I may have been fileted out at that point too. The Duck and pork Firecracker was very good as were the flatbreads that my brother and mom had. I would go back again, but would probably get something other than the fillet.
Sun 5/21 Raglan Road again
This night was not planned. Some family friends came to the WDW to visit us and they took us out to dinner. I only had the fish and chips, and left feeling better about the place than I did on my first trip.
