Patriots Fans~ It's time to...

Dont' cry! The Pats had a fabulous season and have nothing to be ashamed about....

I totally agree! It was a great game. As far as Belichek going out onto the field with one second left, I believe the Giants coach was there as well. I saw him go right over to him and shake his hand. Great season, Pats...great game Giants. I still love the Pats!!!

I stand corrected! Sorry 'about that. But still, he could've stayed with his team.

Patriots should be ashamed. Ypu all were bragging and over confident.

The 18-0 season is down the toilet down. All will be remembered is the team didn't go undefended and lost to a team that wasn't suppose to be in the Super Bowl!!!

You're the one who should be ashamed... yes I thought the Pats would win but I was not "over confident" I was just being positive... the season is NOT down the toilet... what other teams have gone 18-0????? The word you want to use is "undefeated" not "undefended"... where did you get your diploma???

Congrats Giants... Relish the WIN!!!!

Some awfully poor winners on this thread! How crass.

The coaches did shake hands. I guess that some people were too excited to see that.

Congratulations to the Patriots. They had a wonderful year and made this season real exciting. Congratulations to the Giants too for coming alive late in the year.

I'm really amazed at the mean spirit of so many posters. Being from New England, trust me when I say that we have had our LONG dry spells of not having a winning team.

The Patriots had an amazing year and we (Pats fans) were/are proud of that. I'm sure there were some that were overconfident and pushed it in others faces. But, most New England fans are just fiercly proud of their team(s).

If this had been a regular game, I would have happily congratulated the Giants on their win. They were the underdog and they played an AMAZING game. Eli was awesome.

But, the reason it hurts so much to lose this game is because of all the comments and threads I see on this board. No one will remember that the Pats went 18-0 before losing the Superbowl. They will only remember that they lost. And that is why I feel so sad right now. And all of these posts are making me feel sick to my stomach :(

Yes they did. However the game wasn't over and the Pat's coach left the field. I do believe that's what many are saying is wrong with what happened.

The Pat's had a GREAT season...nothing to be ashamed of.

That's for sure! Ick.

Not me. You really need to stop generalizing dear. :) I've seen way too many games...professional as well as my kids...where we were part of an upset, on both sides, for me to ever feel over-confident. But, have it...you seem to thrive on the negative. :snooty:

Nicely said. I agree with the poor winner comment. I think the Giants played excellent ball tonight and I am truely happy for Eli.
True Patriot fans love them when they are winning and love them when they are losing. I am a true pats fan!

:lmao: i'm sorry, but i had to laugh at the OP!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: WAY TO GO, GIANTS!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

that was one of the best games i've ever seen in my life! you couldn't ask for a better super bowl. and the fact that belichick left before the final snap just comes off as poor sportsmanship to me. he may have had a good reason.......i don't know. but i thought it was pretty un-classy.

my doggy is named after eli so we're very proud. :rotfl2:

After all the arrogance I've seen from some of the Patriot fans on here the last day or so I feel they deserve what they get. But your right. Not all the Patriot fans were like that. To them I send my condolences. The rest, well...

:lmao:

You have no idea how happy I am that the Pats lost! It's so nice that another Manning was a thorn in their side this time!

Makes you realize what high stakes there were in this game, huh?

I guess now we get to sit back and see how deep this cheating scandal is. The breaking news seems to be that all the Pats' Super Bowl wins will be tainted. I'm not sure we really need Specter's congressional committee to get to the bottom if it, but could prove to be quite interesting.

I don't care if the two coaches did shake hands, Belichick should have stayed with his team. I did not like him before and his behavior tonight simply enhances my feelings. Congratulations, Giant fans!!!

This whole Belichek leaving the field thing is cracking me up. It's not like he ran out in the middle of a play. The camera was only on him so we don't know who else had run out already. He didn't run onto the field kicking and crying. He went out to congratulate the other coach.

Yes, and how about congratulating the winning coach and shaking his hand for crying out loud? Oh well, this isn't the first time he's acted this way- noone should be surprised tonight.:sad2:

Did you even watch the game? He went onto the field and the coaches hugged.
