You ladies aren't helping me very much, lol, it's 50/50 right now!!! I guess I'm so use to it, that it's taking a little while to get use to it not being there. I don't want him to look too young (compared to me, lol, jk).

It's hard to get used to someone without facial hair. When my oldest was about 4 my dad decided to shave his beard off. She freaked out. She wouldn't come around him or look at him or let him talk to her. She would just hide. He grew it back .![]()
He shaved it off permanently about 3 years ago. I have to admit it took me awhile to get used him without a beard myself.![]()
Well 22 people have voted and as hard as it is for me to believe, it's completely tied!!!! 11 to grow back, 11 to leave it without!!!!![]()

Is it too late to vote???
I say leave it off, although he does look great either way!
By the way, I am enjoying reading you PJ. I am hoping for a VR in 2009![]()
Just checking in to see how Abbey is doing. I hope she is doing well.![]()
Kelly,
Thanks for checking in. Abbey has been adjusting well. She is making out ok on the steps. She still get a bit disoriented at times though. Tomorrow, my hubby has to start her on meds four times a day and I am not there to help, so I know he'll be struggling (he works 12 hours on friday!).
I apologize. I thought Abbey already had her surgery when I wrote this. I thought she was taking eye drops for her eyes after the surgery and then probably her eyes were already getting better. I guess I need to pay better attention when I am reading. I am always missing important details.I am glad Abbey is adjusting well. I suppose it is difficult to not be able to see one day and then you can the next. That's a good difficulty though.I hope all is going well with her meds. I know it's not easy giving a dog any sort of medicine. Although mine doesn't do too badly. She's never had to have any for an extended length of time though. Dogs seem to know that you are trying to help.
Abbey had her surgery yesterday and I get to pick her up this afternoon. I cannot wait for her to be able to see me again. She knows she is loved, but it had to be scary to see nothing all of a sudden. the doc said her eyesight should improve over the next few weeks, so she won't be running any races today he said, but in a few weeks! (not that abbey runs any races, she's a pug, she can't breathe when she runs, lol).
On the exercise note, it's one more full week of training for the 5k. I ran for 28 minutes monday and today, did 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. Total was around 2.75 so I am almost there!!!!
