path from m.k. to contemporary

hi, does anyone know how long a walk it is from the m.k. to the contemporary? is it a designated walkway or basically do you just walk along the road? thanks

There is a very nice walkway there and it took us around 10 minutes.

When we stayed at Contemporary-North Wing, we frequently walked to MK. It's nice walkway. And it also took us about 10 minutes.

When you go out the park, instead of going right to the monorail, or straight to the boat docks..go left, and follow the wonderful stone path to the Contemp. Very nice walk.

Can you walk from the mk to the poly , i am sure via either the GF or the CRT wondering if anyone has done this ?

I know that there is no Polynesian <-> MK path via the GF, because the canal for the EWP boats is in the way. Don't know if you can go Polynesian to Contemp, then to MK.

The path is inlaid brick pavers so it is reasonably stroller friendly - it is easy to find from the MK side - to the left of the bus area, from Contemporary it starts at the traffic lights on the North Side so follow the sidewalk out towards the traffic lights then cross and voila, you are on the path

There is no "nice" way to walk to the Poly - you could but not nice at all - lots of traffic and you have to walk on a sometimes very busy road under the canal between 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The monorail is the way to get to TTC/Poly/GF from the CR

We stayed at CR- North Wing and used the path all the time - allowed for a quick jaunt over to MK and actually ended up at MK for at least part of the day every day we stayed at the CR (4 days and we made it to the MK 6 different times) thanks to DS (3 1/2) who loves MK (and Epcot and AK but thumbs down to Studios)

Can anyone tell me if this walkway is the same walkway that the engraved bricks are on? I purchased a brick when they first came out but I have yet to see it.

I never stayed in a south tower, but I would say it could add about 8 mins. to the walk. they may be a bit high.

The South Wing is at the bottom of the picture, the Tower in the middle and the North Wing to the right and past the tower. You can see the MK at the top of the picture

I would guess about 5-8 minutes add on from farthest South Wing
