Passporter Question

Our trip isn't until 8/14/04 but I'm dying to get a Passporter. I'm an obsessive planner and I already have our resort reservations made, restaurants chosen for PSs once the ninety day period hits as well as a basic itinerary. Fares for our travel dates should be available by early October and I plan on nabbing the first good price I see, so I anticipate booking early. That means I need my Passporter now to record all of the info I have jotted down. Is it better for me to wait until 2004 to purchase or should I buy it now and just print out any updates from the Passporter website as they become available. I'd appreciate any advice anyone could give me.

If you are a really obsessive planner like I am I would go ahead and get one now. I have the 2003 deluxe edition and I love it! I also have the spiral 2002 version. That was the first one I bought and used it in aug 2002. I thought it was a great way to keep track of everything, especially receipts. I got the deluxe version because of the binder for our trip in dec 2003. That way I can use it to put even more info in it. I would say there is not a big difference between years except anything new that comes along. Although this year WDW does seem to be openning a bunch of new things! I haven't tried to download the upated material yet, but I do get their newsletter via email and it has great info. If it was me I would get it now, but I love to plan and plan and plan! Good luck with whatever you decide.

think you can wait that long?

i got the deluxe 2002 for our trip that June & when i started planning my 2003 trip earlier this year all i had to do was order the looseleaf pages & stick them in the binder

I LOVE MY PASSPORTER!

I bought my first passporter in 2001. I fell in love with it right away. I found the 1999 and 2000 on sale on the passporter webpage and bought them to keep the info about our trips in those years. I purchased the 2002 Deluxe edition and because I got a "Magical Memory" published in the 2003 edition I received the 2003 Insert for my Deluxe binder.

We made more trips this year than we had pockets for and so I purchased extra pockets and rubberbanded the other trip pockets together and put empty ones in for our up coming trip.

When we start getting ready for a trip, planning etc, I already have our tickets in there and then once we get our reservation confirmation, it goes in there too. If my daughter (16) is putting away money, she has an envelope in it to put the money. She knows if it is in there, she can't touch it.

I would spend the money on a Deluxe and then buy the update for 2004 when it comes out. The binder holds so much. We sometimes have it stuffed full before we leave for our trip. When we arrive at the hotel, we get maps for all the parks and put them into the passporter. So we always have a nice, clean map to take home.

I just purchased my first PassPorter, Deluxe WDW 2003 I am an obsessive planner, I just love this guide when it arrived I sat down and read thru it for hours. That said I recieved some coupons so I went to web site-you might want to check out the specials, I believe it will help you. (with the discounts you can't go wrong)
