Pass Discounts for Discovery Cove?

Is there a difference in the type of Discounts Pass Holders get for Discovery Cove?

I have read that Platinum Pass Holders can get a discount for up to 6 people at DC?

Is it the same opportunity if you just get a one year annual pass?

Also, does the time of year you visit impact whether or not a discount is available? We are looking to visit the last week of April.

Annual Passholders get a discount for up to 6 people and it doesn't matter when you go. However, I found it was more economical to pay full price and get the 14 day admission to SeaWorld for the rest of my party than to take the discount. Price it out before you make a decision.
