I can't in good conscience recommend this event. Just returned and must say party for the senses is overhyped first the food is largely from disney resor including. Values. I expected different countries. The wine is mid to low range wine I could get at.my grocery store. The desserts are limited. Worst is the fact you are herded into a waiting area and expected to race to a table when curtains go up. People are so desperate for tables and.chairs that they take from others. La nouba only did the acrobatics and we expected.a bit more. We.tried.to get a reserved. Table before the event but they were sold out. Please believe me this event is not good value for the money spent. Do.another dining event instead.

I agree. We were there last night too with reserved seating. It was our first and probably last PFTS. I have always wanted to try it, but honestly I have enjoyed some of the other special events more. Next year I think we will start working our way thru some of the signature restaurants special events.

Appreciate the review. I've often wondered if this event was worth the price.

I had a different experience. We did the 10/11 party and loved it! We had reserved seating and it was worth the money. La Nouba performed nearly the entire time either with acrobatics or singing. I was surprised that so many of the chefs were Disney chefs but the food they prepared was much better than the usual resort food. We will definetly do this event again, if I skip anything it'll be the F&W booths, their food was pretty bad.

So sad you came away with this feeling. This is a "must-do" for us every year and we absolutely love it. They do have some visiting chefs each week as well as some celebrity chefs, but yes, the Disney chefs get to partake too. These are talented chefs, but Disney kind of handcuffs them with what they can do at their restaurants, this gives them a chance to show what they can really do. Usually the best dishes are the ones by Disney chefs.

The party last week showcased Disney chefs from around the world. I missed that one as I was there the week prior but would have loved to do that one.

If you don't like the "running" for a table, then book a reserved table. Definitely worth it. We were there with 8 people, couldn't get reserved seats but had no trouble getting tables for our party.
