In August we rented from Dollar using a city special. We chose to get the car at MCO and return it to the Wyndham by DTD. You could check the prices from Wyndham. It would be easy to take the bus to DTD to walk to get the car.
We rented a car from Avis and picked up & dropped off at MCO and it was absolutely 100% painless. Soooo easy. The rental station was literally 100 yards from baggage claim. Don't rule out picking up a car at the airport.
Ah, I still have some time before we need to reserve it, maybe I can talk him into renting from the Airport.DisneyDreamerMN said:OK, so I am so throwing my DH under the bus here...He wants to get it from the Car Care Center because he wants to avoid tolls as much as possibleAh, I still have some time before we need to reserve it, maybe I can talk him into renting from the Airport.
Saving money there means more souvenirs or better yet .... CUPCAKES! lol

We're not doing park hoppers, so once we're in a park we won't be moving around to a different park, except for the day we're in MK, leaving for 'Ohana, and returning for MVMCP. Will I be loosing a lot of time by using Disney transportation ($337ish worth of time)?

I get you
That is exactly how we do it. Sort of a no-plan within a plan. Or maybe a plan within randomness?
The verdict is in: Completely torn ACL with lateral and medial meniscus tears. Having ACL reconstruction with next week. Doc will either try to repair my meniscuses (or meniscusi? ROFL) or remove the torn parts depending on how bad it is when he sees it. He would rather try and salavge what he can to prevent problems with this knee in the future. Doctor seems really optomistic that I will be up and walking for Disney. I know I will be walking before then, but I am worried if I will have the stamina for Disney now. I am worried about how my knee will feel after 8 to 12 miles a day just 9 weeks our from surgery. I am taking the conservative route, and ordered a scooter to be delievered to our resort. Hubby thinks I am being a baby about all of this. :/

), BOG, MVMCP or Fantasy Land.
) and have wanted to get more involved in the discussions...I think this is the best way to break the ice.
