good morning and happy friday wow where did this week go hope all my weeks go by this fast. I'm going to be MIA this weekend; going to get my disney fix with a weekend of scrapbooking our 2010 trip to the LAND. Thinking I might start putting up Fall/Halloween next week - the kids will be so excited.

Haha! Word! I have an extra 'Ohana reservation just in case they end up adding EMH or opening early on the 14th. I have a few others that are "just in case", too, but hopefully nothing too drastic will happen. :rotfl:

AHHHH! I've been trying to get 'Ohana on the 14th for.like.ever. !

We are now arriving on the 8th and doing a split stay, 2 nights at Pop and 4 at WL. More nights = more fun. Yay!

Us too! Almost - Arriving the 8th for two nights at ASMU and then 5 nights at WL.

DSis and I nailed down our Plan B schedule last night. I found it amusing that when we were done, we have us potentially (and quite likely) being in WS and watching Illuminations on 10 of the 12 nights. And that includes the nights we're at AKV. If we do Plan B we'll also be canceling most of the ADRs I made at 180. We'll only be keeping: Le Cellier, R&C, California Grill (during Holiday Wishes) and Biergarten. And we're actually not sold on Le Cellier, but it seems wrong to give it up. ;)

Ok I feel better now. I have us watching Illuminations 3 out of 7 nights. What is your favorite spot to watch from?

70 days until the big day!

Could time possibly move any slower?
:coffee:

You do have the double whammy of countdowns, Disney trip AND wedding. I was engaged for less than 3 months so that time flew by!! :rotfl2:

When did you start your ticker? Your Mickey and Minnie are way closer to the end than my Goofy is.

Hoping to calculate our meal cost today, so I can buy gift cards to cover all our TS meals and the TiW card.

Funny story – a couple years ago I didn’t put up a tree at all. No vacation planned or anything; I just didn’t want to do it. Our tree is always about 13-16 feet and it turns into a major ordeal to get it delivered, get the lights on it and get it decorated. Then set up the trains underneath. So one year I just had a lot on my plate so instead of spending several weekends getting the tree up, I negotiated with DS. Instead we:

1. Went to the Aquarium and saw Polar Express.
2. Saw the drive-through light display at our local concert venue.
3. Saw the walk-through light display at our local gardens.
4. Went to Zoo Lights at the National Zoo.

Honestly, I think we enjoyed the holiday season more than any other year with a lot less stress for me. But boy, my SIL acted like we committed a major sin. I mean, what kind of Mom refuses to put up a Christmas tree. ;-)

To each in his own or however that saying goes. I see no problem in not putting up a tree. As long as we have our nativity I'm good. I did try to talk DH into just a tree this year because we will be gone.. you would think I suggested murder lol he went crazy and was like we aren't the Kranks. At the same time I want to get custom shirts for us to take a picture in front of the castle for Christmas cards and he gives me a hard time oh well, he will deal.

My DSis and family come back Christmas day from Disney and she is only doing the girls trees in there room nothing else.

70 days and 22 hours for us... hotel paid for (Hilton at DTD), airfare bought (flying out of Austin so still looking for SA flights to drop a little so we won't have to drive an hour and a half) and tickets will be purchased in a few weeks... I know it's Disney and totally worth it but always amazes me how park tickets can be more expensive than the hotel and sometimes even airfare. :confused3

FYI - Disney store has some long-sleeved tops on sale this week. No promotion code needed. Several cute options for women - bought some matching colored shirts for our trip - just hope the weather cooperates and it won't be too hot for long sleeves.

Would someone explain the Target/Disney card thing? I'm seeing it mentioned a few times and don't know what the deal is? LOL, can you tell I don't feeling left out?? hahaha

71 days for me. We arrive on 12/1 for a 10 day/9 night stay at AOA-LM. Trip is paid, airfare is paid, rental car is paid, MVMCP tix are paid, Driving Experience is paid. Next week I'll buy our US/IOA tix, PP+ and DisQuest. After that, it's saving for spending money. Sooooooooooooooooooo ready for this vacation!!!! :cool1:

85 days!!!! Tickets, food and room are half paid. Airfare is paid. MVMCP tickets are paid. Still need PP+, Illuminations cruise, dessert party, tips and souvenir money. Ok, that was more depressing than exciting. :scared1:

LOL. I have to agree. I dont need waterpark weather, but am hoping to wear short sleeves all week. Maybe long sleeves or a jacket at night.

ETA: Went to Disney store website. The $12 thermals are really cute!!!! Even if it's not cold enough to wear them in WDW, it will be here!!! So I need one or two, right?? :lmao:

I redid my ticker to add my earlier day and now my vacation ticker seems so far away too :(

For breakfast? If that's what you're looking for, I can let you know when I cancel one of them. :)

I bought two of those (one for me, one for my partner) because I figured we'd need them on the way to the airport, since we're in Chicago. Ha!
