70 days until the big day!

Haha! Word! I have an extra 'Ohana reservation just in case they end up adding EMH or opening early on the 14th. I have a few others that are "just in case", too, but hopefully nothing too drastic will happen.![]()
We are now arriving on the 8th and doing a split stay, 2 nights at Pop and 4 at WL. More nights = more fun. Yay!
Martin

DSis and I nailed down our Plan B schedule last night. I found it amusing that when we were done, we have us potentially (and quite likely) being in WS and watching Illuminations on 10 of the 12 nights. And that includes the nights we're at AKV. If we do Plan B we'll also be canceling most of the ADRs I made at 180. We'll only be keeping: Le Cellier, R&C, California Grill (during Holiday Wishes) and Biergarten. And we're actually not sold on Le Cellier, but it seems wrong to give it up.![]()

Our tree is always about 13-16 feet and it turns into a major ordeal to get it delivered, get the lights on it and get it decorated. Then set up the trains underneath. So one year I just had a lot on my plate so instead of spending several weekends getting the tree up, I negotiated with DS. Instead we:
1. Went to the Aquarium and saw Polar Express.
2. Saw the drive-through light display at our local concert venue.
3. Saw the walk-through light display at our local gardens.
4. Went to Zoo Lights at the National Zoo.
Honestly, I think we enjoyed the holiday season more than any other year with a lot less stress for me. But boy, my SIL acted like we committed a major sin. I mean, what kind of Mom refuses to put up a Christmas tree. ;-)

I know it's Disney and totally worth it but always amazes me how park tickets can be more expensive than the hotel and sometimes even airfare.
FYI - Disney store has some long-sleeved tops on sale this week. No promotion code needed. Several cute options for women - bought some matching colored shirts for our trip - just hope the weather cooperates and it won't be too hot for long sleeves.
Would someone explain the Target/Disney card thing? I'm seeing it mentioned a few times and don't know what the deal is? LOL, can you tell I don't feeling left out?? hahaha

When did you start your ticker? Your Mickey and Minnie are way closer to the end than my Goofy is.

AHHHH! I've been trying to get 'Ohana on the 14th for.like.ever. !

ETA: Went to Disney store website. The $12 thermals are really cute!!!! Even if it's not cold enough to wear them in WDW, it will be here!!! So I need one or two, right??![]()
