LOL, love this! My manfriend wasn't very particular about what we lined up for reservations but he INSISTED on this one! Funnier is Thanksgiving is the week before but there we'll be Dec. 3rd having round two!

Just a friendly warning... don't venture to the dining reviews... Lord have mercy, I've added all kinds of places to my list... just because some "kindly" person posted pics of things that I thought - "oh, I NEED that"... Like the dessert at Yak and Yeti with the cream cheese and fruit on skewers drizzled with what looks like a heavenly creamy sauce. Who does that?!? And then there was the shrimp poor boy pic at Restaurtasaurus... that name or place had never crossed my mind and now, now it's on my list... I just hope somewhere between eateries I actually ride a ride... it's gonna be an expensive trip!

I wondered about that, since Thanksgiving is right before we go. Will have to check with DH.

I know!! And dont go over there when you are hungry!! Big trouble!!

:rotfl2:

When I first started this trip (with little research/planning done), I was pretty adament that we would just be doing QS. Then after a month of really planning for the trip, there were a few TS meals we were going to pay OOP for (Biergarten, Sci-fi). Fast forward to today, we're on the regular DDP and have a TS meal planned for every day. And I know what snacks I want and have 2 options for our QS meal each day, depending on our mood.

With Thanksgiving 2 weeks before and Christmas 2 weeks after, jeans will be SNUG! It makes me giddy to think about it!:goodvibes:

on a different note - I'm also really looking forward to picking up Christmas themed Mickey decorations. So far on my list is a Mickey head shaped plate. I saw a pic of some of the holiday decor/housewares from last year at Christmas time and there was a plate in the shape of a Mickey head but painted red with a Santa belt across it - I thought that would be great for Santa's cookies!

Also looking forward to visiting Art of Animation and their gift shop. My 14 yr old is a huge Ariel fan so I know I'll have a bigger selection there of adult sized t-shirts.

And somehow, when we comeback with all our loot - I'll need to come up with something about how we got it so our kids won't know we went without them... I'm worried if they know in advance we'll come back to all of our belongings on the curb... it's already getting tricky and we still have 75 days to go!

Disney store online??? :goodvibes

Raise your hand if now you are checking the LTT menu and trying to see where it could fit into your schedule. :wave2:

Just realized: now that we moved the Seas Aqua tour from Wednesday to Thursday, we'll be in the MK on Wednesday with no lunch planned. So...I just booked an ADR at LTT for Wednesday lunch :)

As far as I know, no fusion. Is that generally done in the neck? Everyone I know who has that done has been lower down..
My hubby had cervical fusion last January. The recovery was very very quick although he didn't return to work for 12 weeks afterwards. He honestly felt loads better 4 weeks post surgery. I think the longer return to work was more of a precaution as he wasn't to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk for those 12 weeks. Hubby is 45 years old so I guess maybe his recovery was pretty fast due to the younger age.....I sure hope it all works out!

Glad to hear a few of you chime in with good things to say about LTT. I've generally seen mixed reviews-but I love me some comfort food! It's our first table service meal of this trip and I hope it doesn't disappoint.

The dessert (the name escapes me at this time) looked delish!

It really is yummy, perfect comfort food. We were very surprised by this restaurant, became one of our favs :goodvibes

One note ... not sure how your family is on going with less sleep but you have an awfully late night planned on the 7th, your travel day, with a very early morning on the 8th. My DH would kill me if I planned for him to have that little sleep on vacation!

:lmao: I know! I don't sleep much anyway - I'm a 1-2am up at 6am kinda gal. When I discussed this with the family, they all said the same thing - we can sleep another day :rotfl:

That was us in June! I had all the meals "planned" and a list of snacks to try - imagine my disgust when I came back having only tried TWO of my list snacks?? So the list grows as will my backside. :rotfl:

Awesome! Just make sure if you're not getting the Thanksgiving stuff that one of you does so you can at least try it... That's why dinner there is my fave - no guessing what I need to order just bring it to momma

Thanks. My FIL is 60 and he retired at the end of last year. He'd been planning to work for another year but after the heart surgery, he decided it just wasn't worth it.

Maybe if he's feeling better but isn't allowed to work in the yard, my MIL will decide they have to go on vacation just to keep him from driving her nuts. ;)

OMG ! HOW am I just now finding this ?!?!?
I arrive on Dec 7 for my 50th Birthday trip !

I'm at work but can't wait to get home to read all of the info !!!
I'm so excited pixiedust:

No room for me. The only night we could possibly do it would be our party night and the only reservation open was at 2:45pm. We'll just have to keep our 3:15 Plaza reservation (since we're paying oop anyway it'll be much cheaper)!

Also really want to try Kouzzina. We have an evening planned to explore the Boardwalk and play mini golf and eat at ESPN, so I may try to convince DH to switch to Kouzzina. We could maybe do ESPN for lunch on one of our DHS days.

I REALLY thought I would make my ADRS at 180 days and not touch them. HA!! I have changed them so many times, I have to go back to the website every so often and remind myself what I actually have scheduled.

I've moved my ADRs all over the place...a gal has to have something to do! I really wanted Kouzzina but dh wasn't that "into" it so I "compromised" for his choice of either Riverside Brew Works or ESPN..... on the evening we're touring Epcot resorts. Which reminds me, I don't think we made actual ADRs for that. Do you think we could get in without one? If so I'd have to choose between the two. Any recommendations? Where is the mini golf at Boardwalk and how much is that? We may plan on that Dec 10th.

Just wanna make sure you guys know about the Disney Artists Collection in Target - I love it .... and I think that second one with Tink would look great on Levenhopper :p :lmao:

Lovely lovely stuffsies

I got the pink-sleeved Mickey shirt last week. I tried on the lavender Tink sweatshirt (it's definitely fleece) but it is very short-waisted and didn't look right on me. It's way cute, though!

We arrive on Disney property Dec 9th. It's my 50th celebration too (although I turned 50 last May). Yeah for us!!!

Question - if you suddenly had an extra day in your plan - you've already hit all the Disney parks and resorts that you want for the trip - what would you do? Special tour? Something offsite?

ESPN doesnt take ADRs. I am not sure about the Brew place. I did check their menu too and it looked good. Too many choices!!!!!
The minigolf is behind the Swan. I think it is $10-12, I read it somewhere, but I forget now. If you got a Disney package, you get 1 free round. :thumbsup2

I would do a park hop and eat as many of the cupcakes as I could. That would be my only food for the day.......No? Hm.......I think I would like to have seen Ice at the Gaylord. We're already going to IOA/US for 2 days and 1 night so that's exactly what I would do if we hadn't already planned it. We're already seeing Blue Man Group while there and also doing La Nouba :)
