Uggh. So behind on the boards. I'm out of town on business (in Columbus, OH) so I don't have my normal downtime to surf. Now, just sitting in the hotel relaxing. Good news is, it's 39 days to WDW!!! :cool1:

:wave2: That's where I live. At least you came on a good weather week!! Yay for 39 days!!

I just looked at the Disney Store and didnt put anything in my cart!!!!! Do you think they will add more items? There weren't many shirts. And they were cute, but $$$. I liked the plushes in holiday pajamas, but how many plushes does a grown woman with no kids really need?? :lmao:

Not going to check. Not going to check. Who am I kidding?

I checked. Actually put some pjs in my cart. Then saw that for DD the largest kid size is a 10 in the nightgown (which would fit but not for long) and smallest woman size set is a S :(
I'll wait until she's home later and see what she prefers.

You can never have too many plushes ... and you don't have to share. HA! :thumbsup2

Cart is empty now ... I'll give it til the end of the day .....

I really dont have that many. I have a big Mickey and Minnie, like "24. Then my friend was having a baby and I got her a smaller Mickey, but they were 2 for something, so I got myself a smaller Minnie, maybe 12". I was debating taking her with us, but it's kinda sad that she is all alone. So now I think I need Mickey and Minnie in their holiday pajamas and they can both come with us.
Just went and checked how big they are. 17" seems awfully big?? They also have holiday Mickey and Minnie that are only 7". That would be better for travel, but they arent as cute. I have issues.

Hey Wedgie--Tell me again how you dont look at crowd calendars and you still have a wonderful time. I was thinking about some changes last night that would solve my ADR issues, but it goes against the "best park" plans.

We have too many plushes. I told DH not to let me buy anymore because sadly they just sit on a shelf in my closet. We have Pooh, Eeyore, Dug, Fozzie, and I can't think what else, but at least two more. I think you should really do the 7" ones.

That's great to see. Even at my work it says we need to conduct ourselves properly on social networking sites. Which we have always done because they are for public view.

People have been fired for inappropriate things they've said on their personal pages. My husband's a lawyer and its a big issue now in employment law. I know our school teaches kids what is and is not appropriate on social media, and about the future consequences of such things,

I look at it this way - we're not going at peak time or over the Christmas week so it will not be heaving. When you go anywhere for 'entertainment' its crowded so I just remember that and tell myself to be patient. Use FPs for the rides that you know have long standby's and get an idea of what times the shows are (for DHS/AK) and for everything else, just enjoy the moment as you are in line ... its not often we get to stand and do nothing so I see it as relaxing, not waiting ;) Now, if I were going in the summer vacation, spring break, Christmas week then I might think differently.

Plus, if there are only a couple of numbers difference in the crowd predictor in it that's not something we, as the public, are going to notice.

My first full day is a Saturday. We have to go to MK on our first day. Its a Saturday, its two days after the 'Official' opening of FLE and the calendars have it as an 8 :scared1: .... see this face *waves hand in front of face* it doesn't care :teeth:

There is no such thing as an empty park anymore - its either crowded or really crowded whatever the 'crowd number' is.

Just roll with it :smokin:

And to add to that valgoof, I think when you start looking at crowd calendars etc you then start to overplan and your vacay becomes something dictated to you.

I planned my days around late EMH, personal preference (i.e. MK on first day), then I planned my ADRs. I have no idea what the crowd calendars actually say for my days other than "YOU'RE WRONG!" :lmao:

My Disney Destinations email came in and included a Holiday at WDW link. HERE it is. Tell me this doesn't make you want to blow right through November (except Turkey Day of course). :santa:
