Happy Magical Day!!!

Huh, much simpler than I thought .... I'll go back to believing that it is actually a space station number/location.

Oooh, every time I think of space the 'Imperial March' starts to play in my head .... that's cool ::yes::

I have a HS senior and I just keep translating SAT back to the college board and applications...

I love the blue ones and I think they would be best with jeans - they will look super cute. But they are the most expensive. The brown ones work better with your overall wardrobe and they are cheaper. So really, its down to your budget :)

They are actually black ;) I am so torn between all three! The black ones were $55 priced in the middle of the two brown pair...

I will likely wear sneakers most of the time. I also have cute Merrells that are Mary Jane-ish that also dry really fast. Those are def coming too.

I like Merrells too. :) I am hoping to wear flip flops most of the time. It's just my north face shoes are very bulky and I want the MJs for something lighter and well just more girly....

Haha

Well I hope I haven't disappointed anyone with my lack of originality of my login name!!!

Morning all... :coffee:

I'm in a funk this morning so of course I turn to this board and my Disney iPod playlist (The Essential Disney Love Song Collection) because what better way to get happy?!?!

So for anyone interested and could use a little perk-me-up I've listed wait times below for some of my faves (using the Undercover Tourist app)... Join my on an imaginary journey, ok? LOL... :wizard:

15 min for Peter Pan
15 min at Big Thunder Mountain

I need a snack now... anyone up for a treat from Main Street bakery or a Nutella Waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments?

I'm hoping for flip flops weather too. But not holding my breath. I think I'm trying to use reverse psychology on the weather gods - if I appear content to wear socks & sneakers all week, we'll end up with nice warm weather :-)

Anyone renting at car for thier trip? I have been watching rental prices and very expensive at MCO for major brands(Alamo, Budget, Hertz ect..) Did rent from Advantage which is also at the airport(87.40 for med size Sat-Thur) but have been reading reviews and very mixed. Anyone used Advantage before or got good deal somewhere?

Did you switch the pictures round, I could have sworn the BLUE ones were in the middle :confused3

Who says they are black? They look BLUE to me :p Either way, the BLUE ones have more of a denim look about them ;)

So trying to find shoes.... Here are a few options...

0650509D-F4C9-49C6-8548-7EEE9A331DAC-3709-0000025399D38018.jpg

$45

I love these - that is a really good price - where did you find them? At 6PM they want $62 for the same shoes.

Just checked their web site. They have no locations in NY and only 2 in NJ.

I'll check Marshall's, but I doubt there will be anything there for me. I've never liked that store since I was a kid. The Marshall stores here are very disorganized and messy. I've even seen brand new clothes on the racks with stains on them including one shirt with what looked like a bleach stain.

I don't know where you on on LI but I know there's a TJ Maxx in Hicksville. I believe there is also one in Queens at Rego Park (along with a Century 21!). I got my "big" suitcase at TJ Maxx. It's a Ricardo with an awesome suiter section in the front. It's flown all over the midwest when I still travelled for work and has held up beautifully. I think I paid less than $50 for it on clearance.

Check the transportation forum for the December rentals thread. On there someone's posted a great code for Budget. Then check Mousesavers, there's a Budget coupon on there for a free upgrade you can use with the code on the forum thread. Got a full size car for $50 a day for Dec. 19th - 23rd that way!

I need a snack now... anyone up for a treat from Main Street bakery or a Nutella Waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments?

Me! I'm in! Nutella Waffle = Heaven :)

Holy Heck, I just look at a calendar and my clock and realized something. Exactly 2 months from today I will be sitting on our second flight leg from Atlanta to Orlando - Woo Hoo!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Then I ordered these black ones and I think they will be good to wear in case I needed something a little less "tennis shoe-y"
71vXUkQFtpL_SL1500_.jpg

I had the black ones. So comfy. I wore them until they died (which is so unusual for me)

Now I'm contemplating ordering a new pair. I was planning to spend the trip in various Converse.

So - what do I wear to Narcosse's or Fulton's? Do I need to get all dressy or will jeans be ok?

Does anyone know if the boats from Ft. Wilderness and MK run during MVMCP? Reason I'm asking is if we go to the 6:30 Hoop De Doo, I was hoping to bounce over to the TTC and catch the fireworks! Not sure how to accomplish that other than taking the boat? Will there be buses available to go to the TTC?

On another note, I used to have those sketchers! I loved them. And thanks for reminding me that I need to get a new pair of shoes and break them in stat!

I want to grab a Dole Whip. Eat it while sitting on the bench near Swiss Family Robinson, then I want to take a ride on Pirates! Yo Ho Yo Ho

So far I have gotten decent rates with budget and dollar off of the December Car Rental thread... I also noticed a few days out prices drop with enterprise.... I have usually gone with hotwire but the deals don't seem to be there this year :(

Did you switch the pictures round, I could have sworn the BLUE ones were in the middle :confused3

Who says they are black? They look BLUE to me :p Either way, the BLUE ones have more of a denim look about them ;)

The blues are VERY blue :) And I didn't post a picture hehe - You would love those blue ones - they would go well with your pink shoes!!!

Amazon. I basically always do a search on 6pm, Zappos, Amazon and Ebay to find the best price... I did end up going with those for two reasons, I have the Sandal version which I love, and they are a great price. Most times value wins with me - it also gives my husband the oppurtunity to buy me a spring show in March or April :)

There are several online grocery stores available that cater to Disney area guests. You can preorder now and they deliver your groceries to your room. I've read reports where they even unload them in ur fridge. Garden Grocer has a big selection.

Thanks! I will check them out. I mentioned going to the grocery to DH and how I didn't know when I could fit it all in and he said, find a delivery service lol.

A 15 minute wait for Peter Pan, I have never seen that line shorter than 30 minutes. I hope I get some magic pixie dust for a short wait. Peter Pan is my favorite ride.
