Me too!! Last year I went before my diet and the only good thing about those pictures to me- is it a good time marker to see how far I've come!

Absolutely! What a confidence booster, huh?

Just curious about ur name, what do ur initials stand for?

Someone tell me about this? I just don't see where I am going to have time for a grocery run.

There are several online grocery stores available that cater to Disney area guests. You can preorder now and they deliver your groceries to your room. I've read reports where they even unload them in ur fridge. Garden Grocer has a big selection.

I style mine wavy. I have a strong wave so I put some mousse in it, use a diffuser throw on a headband and go. I'll use a round bristle brush and sometimes smooth out my "bangs"....

I do the same thing. However, I also use the brush to get the knots out of my hair before washing it. I've tried the pick in the beginning and it was working ok, but after a month it was getting to be to difficult so I started using the brush. I'm guessing it's the mousse that's knotting it since I don't fully dry it with the hair dryer.

:D

It's a computer generated login. The S is for Sarah, A is for Alexis and T is for my maiden name. 887 means absolutely nothing ;)

Did you do a search for Ross? If not, Marshall's is a good idea too, I've seen luggage in there. Don't forget to check for coupons first ... signup with them!

Just checked their web site. They have no locations in NY and only 2 in NJ.

I'll check Marshall's, but I doubt there will be anything there for me. I've never liked that store since I was a kid. The Marshall stores here are very disorganized and messy. I've even seen brand new clothes on the racks with stains on them including one shirt with what looked like a bleach stain.

We went last year and wore short sleeves all week. It hit 80 most days. In 2010, people were bundled up in coats, hats and gloves.

Wow! Let's hope it's nice this year!

Chicagoan here! You probably will not be cold. I wore tank tops with cardigans and either skirts with leggings/tights or jeans. I only wore my hoodie a night or two. No coats!

Wow!! Now I'm getting more excited!!!! Because I know right now it's been nice, but soon the cold will be here! And it will be nice to escape from it

So trying to find shoes.... Here are a few options...

I want something that is cute with jeans. I imagine I will be wearing those or cropped pants on vacation mostly.... I think the brown would be most versatile for my wardrobe too... Suggestions?

Huh, much simpler than I thought .... I'll go back to believing that it is actually a space station number/location.

Oooh, every time I think of space the 'Imperial March' starts to play in my head .... that's cool ::yes::

I recently discovered the sleep in rollers for my hair and I LOVE them! my looks like I spent a fair amount if time on it when I actually just woke up! LOL =) I plan to look good @ Disney in order to replace my fat pictures from last year. I'm going to each my 100 lbs lost and maybe a few extra since I was there last December! Woo hoo!!!!

That is so AWESOME you're going to reach your goal and then some before the trip! Definitely gives me more inspiration to not cheat on my Weight Watchers points and to keep up with going to the gym :thumbsup2

Okay, here's the thing about Samsonite though. They guarantee their luggage. This means you can take any Samsonite piece of luggage into any Samsonite store, and they will repair it or replace it for free, even if its a style they no longer carry. I only get hard sided luggage since I travel frequently and get to hear luggage horror stories constantly from my mom who's worked for one of the legacy carrier airlines for over 30 years. I also use luggage straps because I've gotten my luggage back with the clasps popped open, but thanks to the luggage straps nothing fell out (though I've also lost a strap on the ramp). I've taken my Samsonite luggage to the Park City Samsonite store and they mailed it back to me on Maui repaired for free (new handles, new wheels) when things have gone wrong with different pieces since there's no Samsonite store on Maui anymore (and I know it was the airlines/train company's fault for mishandling).
If you're not going to use your luggage much, get the cheap stuff. But the expensive stuff is expensive for a reason, and well worth it since they'll fix it for you at no cost, including shipping if the closest store isn't near you.

Okay, I wasn't in the market for any new luggage but now that you've said that I must go scope it out online since my Ross doesn't carry any of the decent quality stuff, only Delsey.

I wouldn't mind getting Samsonite, but they are expensive. I bought DH a small one for Christmas a few years ago for his business trips. He hasn't done that in a while. We really don't travel that much and when we do, it's by car. The suitcases we already have are fine for that.

Tuesday Mornings, or maybe biglots.

We have both here. My mom was even surprised when I said I don't mind checking out Big Lots.

Do you have Ross and Marshalls? We always get luggage their marked down.

Edited to say that I saw all the replys with the same advice.

:rotfl: I've done the same thing. I'll see a post and reply to it, only to find out several people have aleady answered it.

I lost 50 pounds after my second child, I never lost the weight I gained, I actually gained more , I was at 160 and finally got determined and lost all my weight, I went down to 112, and now I'm at 125-130 that was two years ago, I started again gaining weight and I need to be determined again! My Disney photos in 2010, are awful, I was not looking so good, so when we went in 2012, the pictures were lovely , it is really such a challenge, even after getting at your weight you would like to be, maintaining it , is even more difficult , dieting is not a diet it's a lifestyle

Ooh not good! Generally our local ones (I have 2 not too far) are really good. I don't go there for clothes though, way too frustrating. I got for things like luggage and kitchenware.

I love the blue ones and I think they would be best with jeans - they will look super cute. But they are the most expensive. The brown ones work better with your overall wardrobe and they are cheaper. So really, its down to your budget :)

I just ordered these two pairs of shoes. Not sure if socks will work at all so it kind of defeated the purpose of having shoes to keep my feet warmer in case it got chilly. I got the grey ones today and I love them......very comfy but not as much arch support as I would like:
greysketcher.jpg

Then I ordered these black ones and I think they will be good to wear in case I needed something a little less "tennis shoe-y"

I have that exact pair of black sketchers! You can wear socks with them, the insole on them is fantastic, and the traction on the bottom of the shoe is just as good as any pair of tennis shoes. In fact, wearing them feels almost exactly like wearing a pair of tennis shoes. During the fall and winter I wear them 3 or 4 times a week. I've had them for 2 years now and they still look great, I just had to replace the insole last year because it'd gotten pretty worn down. You shouldn't have any problems wearing those at WDW.

You will have plenty of time. Fantasmic will be done right around 7, and even if the line for the boat to BC is long, you can walk there in about ~25 minutes.

Thank you!!

Okay, wow. Thanks for that information. It might be worth investing in a samsonite bag. I had no idea they would repair for free!

Edit: I just checked the samsonite web site, and it says that they do not guarantee against damage from airline carriers:

"Your luggage has a warranty which covers manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. Our warranty does not cover repairs resulting from carrier damage, misuse or neglect of the product, normal wear and tear, or repairs beyond the warranty period."

Yep. That's what they told me when Carnival busted up the frame on my bag. Now, thankfully my travel insurance provider was better to deal with, but still, I don't buy uber expensive luggage anymore.

Do totally agree with everyone on this board that's been saying TJ Maxx and Marshalls are great places to buy luggage! Tuesday Mornings sometimes has some really good deals on luggage too, and around Thanksgiving most of the major department stores will offer at least a couple of different sets for a great price.

I like the brown ones!

I will likely wear sneakers most of the time. I also have cute Merrells that are Mary Jane-ish that also dry really fast. Those are def coming too.
