We're going to be on the "dark side" our first night 12-8 and plan on eating at Mythos for lunch the first day and Latin Quarters for dinner after the parks close. Are you planning on catching Manheim Steamroller at Universal for the christmas concert? I can't wait for that! I do love Margaritaville but we're trying to eat at places we haven't enjoyed as of yet on this trip. We'll be at Yachtsman the day before you!

Truthfully, other than where we want to eat, we haven't made any other plans for the dark side yet. We do have our tickets already.

The night we go to Yatchman's is the day we check-in to CBR. First time staying onsite. Staying offsite prior to this.

Well we will be at MK for rope drop until early afternoon then we have dinner at Kona and are heading to HS for EMH. Now we just have to schedule some time to watch the Texans!!!

Just and FYI if you didn't already know. Kona has recently changed their menu. I found out about it on the Restaurants forum and had to cancel our ADRs b/c everthing that appealed to us was taken off the menu. I don't think Allears has updated their menu for it yet and I know Disney doesn't know anything about it yet either.

Am I really only 2 days from 45 days till we check in!!!!! Ah. Maz. Ing!!!!!!! 45 days from tomorrow at dinner we will be hitting the road!!

I started to gather some things around the house in a bag that we'll be taking with us. I have Bonine ( want to make sure I can do all the thrill rides with DH), a Tide to go pen, travel size lotions, anti-bac, and a few other things.

Okay, I'm sure you guys will think I'm a worry wart.....but does anyone freak out a little in hotel rooms with the bedding? I know it's Disney but shoot, they can get bed bugs too........I was going to bring a can of Lysol to spray the bedspread/sheets.

#1-do you think that is overkill
#2-Will I be able to put that in my luggage to fly?

1. No. DW and I also worry about this.
2. Yes. As long as you put it in your checked luggage. Be sure to put it in a baggie just in case.

I use Lysol wipes on the remote, doorknob and phone too. Could it go in checked luggage? I havent flown in years.

It's not a worry wart. Bed bugs can be found (and have been) at any hotel. You should always check before you bring your luggage in, but Lysol won't help. Maybe wipes, to wipe down the counters/table tops. Google how to look for them and inspect. If you have ANY doubt, make them come check.

I check for them and snakes I have read two threads on here where people found snakes in their room in one of them it was in their bed. Yikes!

Okay, first of all, I can NOT keep up with this thread, no matter how hard I try. I only have two kids, my husband is away on business and I only have a part time job and there is no way I can keep up with the amount of pages and posts

A few things I just read about here that are bothering me:

KONA - what is this I read about the menu being changed??? Can someone point me in the right direction to get more info on this? I have 2 breakfast ADR's here as well as a dinner ADR.

SNAKES??? Am I reading correctly??? I don't think I can handle finding a snake in my LM room

Bedbugs...I have personally experienced them at POR a few years back and it is NO fun. Then again we also experienced the stomach bug during the same trip so now we always bring a huge can of lysol with us and the second we enter the room, I start spraying EVERYTHING in sight!!!

In general, I think snakes are more likely (but still not very common) in ground floor rooms. If this is a problem, just request an upper floor room.
