I learned, when stalking an ADR you find ones you normally wouldn't look for... I was honestly just playing around looking for an ADR for CRT for a few days earlier - I need to add two people to it and here pops Crystal Palace breakfast!!

Yay for you! We have an 8.05am one also with park opening at 9pm - think of the lovely photos!!

I have some great photopass pictures from 2010 when we did CP... Now the big debate do I cancel Cape May Cafe for our last day....

I buy silicone bands personalized with our cell number and when they were little I put it on their ankle. They forgot about it since it was out of their sight.

That's a great idea - where did you get them? I found safetytat.com for the temporary tattoos... But I haven't noticed bracelets like that...

So, I dreamed last night that because the kids were out of school yesterday and today for fall break, we loaded up, drove to orlando and went to JUST MNSSHP. And came back. I told this to my DH and he just shook his head. Then of course I went to check out the schedule if you are gonna dream, dream, right? Blah no party til Sunday. Boo.

So, in order to get my Disney fix w/o being on the road 13 hours....

DDs and I found the Disney documentaries on Netflix, and have watched them today. We've never been to AK, so watching the one about AK was cool.

Watching the one about WDW is where I am going to get in trouble....

DD7 saw BBB and said MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Uhoh. I told her that I thought she said she didnt want to be all princessesy anymore. She said:

MOM that is NOT what I said!

DD11 said: mom, that was me. BUT that BBB thing looks pretty cool.

I guess there is still a little bit of Princess in her after all.

Txt'd Dh and said, remember how I talked about how much mnsshp would be? yeah well, looks likes you are still gonna be out that money if I can get a ressie for BBB!!!

I really doubt that it isnt booked solid - but I told them I would try. I mean, DD11 really is almost out the little girl stuff. I feel like this might be my last chance to see it.

My DD10 isnt very princessy either, but wanted to do the BBB....i went ahead and got a resi for it...i am like you, thinking this will be the last time she really wants to do it. kinda want to hang on to any little bit of her being little.....It is kinda nice to see how excited the kids are for this trip, they have countdown tickers on their phones! we are under the 2 month window now and the PP+ came in the mail today!(Now to make sure I dont loose it!)

Yep, she has a countdown on her phone too. I'm going to try to get them a res, hubs said go for it.

Last year she did the entire package. This year she's getting the coach package and we're buying her dress at the Disney store and I also bought her a 2nd hand Belle Christmas gown and a cape with Belle stitched on the front from ebay to wear Christmas Day at MK for BOG. The gowns there aren't even THAT nice.

I have to do AK, as it is really my favorite park (in a tie with MK...and maybe DHS...and Epcot...ok I love them all!! ). But since it really is easy to get everything done quickly I don't mind leaving it before it closes. MK definitely takes longer even when it's slow since it has so many more attractions, so I know I wouldn't get close to all I wanted to get done in before the party started.

I love AK also because one of my top 5 rides is there and I "love" the parade!

Is it possible to catch the parade at AK or DHS and be at 1900 Park Fare by 5:15 for dinner?

Can't wait we will be there in 55 days staying 8 nights December 13th - 21st it is myself, DH, DD, DSL, DD (19), DGS (8), DGD (5). We will be staying at ASSports first night as we are getting in late from airport unless my DVC wait list comes through, then BLT for 5 nights and the last 2 nights at AKL-kidani.

O.K. I just realized, that because of you peeps, that I dreamed last night of shopping for luggage! I have no life. Anyway my husband and I have an ongoing 'discussion' about buying new luggage. He doesn't care about stains and rips and that drives me crazy with luggage. One of the zippers on one of the cheap pieces is breaking. I may have to go into the closet and help it along- cut to visual of me in the closet with some pliers....

Random questions-

Portobello Restaurant- has anyone gone? Reviews? And keep in mind that I was brought up with really good Italian food and won't eat at Olive Garden-yep I know, an Italian food snob.

Is anyone planning a day at Typhoon lagoon or the other water park? I always forget which is closed. My husband really wants to go because he absolutely loves the floating river. I may just hang out at the resort that day and check out another resort for fun. Any ideas on this if it is just me? Particularly during the holiday season. And if you have a suggestion is it a big deal to get there by bus from AKL?

We have an extra park pass for each of us that we have to use this trip because of DSs age and an open day. Any thoughts? Too bad we can't sell them or we would hang out at DTD. We already are going to MK for the party one night and then all day on another. What would you do?

My 2 DDs and I are arriving on December 13...yay! Christmas is my absolute favorite time to visit WDW- I can't wait! I am soooooo excited to check out the new Fantasyland! We will be attending MVMCP and the CP at Epcot. This trip, we are staying at the Boardwalk Inn.

O.K. I just realized, that because of you peeps, that I dreamed last night of shopping for luggage! I have no life. Anyway my husband and I have an ongoing 'discussion' about buying new luggage. I have been to Portabello - it was not a bad meal but nothing great either. Very non memorable. I'm from NJ have had great italian food, and this meal was not bad but not great (I live in NH and miss good italian food, and chinese food....basically anything) My daughter did get pizza and I remember it being better than the usual "disney" pizza. The restaurant itself didn't have a Disney feel, but the service was good. I don't plan on going back not because it was bad but because it wasn't anything special....

I believe Typhoon Lagoon is closed in December.

So my two kids are 3 and 15 months... I was trying to think of a way to best identify my 3 year old bc she is a free spirit. I was thinking a necklace with our cell, but worried she might not wear it, the business card in pocket but not all of her clothes have pockets.... Safety tats too but if she's wearing long sleeves.... What are you guys doing?

I'm contemplating the Safety Temporary Tatoos that have my cell number on it, but not sure yet. DS will be 6 by the trip and hasn't really been a "runner" since he was four (though, yes, we were "those people" with their kid on a leash in airports from 2.5-4). One of the other kids in our party will be almost 5, so we're kind of on the fence about whether or not its necessary ... but we do think that even if our kids have long sleeves, the're old enough to remember that our phone number is on their arm.

Anyone renting at car for thier trip? I have been watching rental prices and very expensive at MCO for major brands(Alamo, Budget, Hertz ect..) Did rent from Advantage which is also at the airport(87.40 for med size Sat-Thur) but have been reading reviews and very mixed. Anyone used Advantage before or got good deal somewhere?

I've had not-so-great experiences with Advantage, but they weren't terrible. Usually involving long waits, not terribly helpful staff, and cars that weren't dirty per se but definitely hadn't been deep cleaned since the last renter. Nothing major, so I'll still use them if the price is substantially cheaper than the majors rental companies, but if I have the choice and the price range is comparable I won't choose them, up to the tune of 10-15% more.

I'm renting a car this time, in Disney World, to get us to and from our cruise then keeping it for 5 days after. Got a great rate from Dollar, about $200 for 8 days for a mid-sized on one of their city specials. Still hoping Enterprise comes out with a better rate since they're my favorite and I have a bunch of points with them, but if not I'll be happy with Dollar.

If its not warm enough, we may go resort hopping, maybe do one of the sleigh rides in Ft Wilderness (the one you don't pre-reserve). I love water parks, but only if its at least 65-70 degrees during the day.

Yeah, at 3 I am not sure if Zoey would be like "Look at my arm!" My kid is as skeptical as I am.... However, I wonder if CM's would be more likely to look for info.... I was talking with DH and we think she would think the silcone band is dress up jewelry and would want to keep playing with it....

I have not heard any reviews regarding Portobello but I feel ya on the Italian food snob part. My grandma was born in Sicily and I haven't had anybody's Arancini except for her's. Now I'm going to try Via Napoli's version of it when we have lunch there in December.

What about keeping your extra day for your very last day and decide which park you wanted to go back for one last hurrah?

I wasn't planning on any water parks. I don't have enough time and I'm wondering if the weather would be warm enough? It IS a nice way to unwind from the hectic parks, though.
