I buy silicone bands personalized with our cell number and when they were little I put it on their ankle. They forgot about it since it was out of their sight.

I want to do this in a bright color so you could obviously see it.

I will be paying my balance off on Monday! I'm very happy!! I am doing the ddp, for the first time! I never done a dining plan, it will be probably be nice to have anything paid for and just brining spending cash! I have a lot of ADR hoping they are good it is now seeming to be a lot! I wanted to downgrade to plus, but with all I will be doing seems worth it to stay at the deluxe

10:am - 1900 park fare or Hollywood vine breakfast " need to make my mind up"

Don't forget to budget in $$ for tips for your ADRs! Unfortunately they are not covered in the DDP. And don't feel bad....I had Chef Mickey scheduled too....then I canceled it :( What was I thinking??? I love your MK day....you are eating at two castles in one day :)

I had the black ones. So comfy. I wore them until they died (which is so unusual for me)

Now I'm contemplating ordering a new pair. I was planning to spend the trip in various Converse.

So - what do I wear to Narcosse's or Fulton's? Do I need to get all dressy or will jeans be ok?

Very happy that so many of you have the Sketchers that I just bought. I love having cute shoes that are good for your feet! I think the dress code at Signature restaurants basically say jeans are fine...no cut offs, tanks, tshirts with offensive language, or swim wear. I will probably wear black pants/capris or maybe even a simple maxi dress with a sweater. I would actually like to check Kohl's on my way home from church on sunday to see if I can score a very simple, cute dress on clearance :)

Haha I am a giant weirdo and if need be wear socks with even crocs. I love argyle socks too which adds to my weirdo ness.... I might get a pair of the liner socks just in case for when I wear a dress or two ;)

I've already shown my husband the other style so maybe he gets the hint!

So one would think......wow, Kathy is so lucky because she has such an awesome sock to wear at WDW.....as evidenced here:

.....but then you learn that Kathy only has ONE sock. Yep.

Thats a great idea. What I did when my DD was little was I bought 'wonder web' ... I have no idea what you call it in this country but its that fabric tape that irons on so you can hem clothes without sewing. I would iron a strip of that along the hem and use a fabric marker to write details on it - sharpie do a great range of fabric pens :)

I'm sorry that you only have one sock .... but that seriously made me laugh! :rotfl:

I have been to Portabello - it was not a bad meal but nothing great either. Very non memorable. I'm from NJ have had great italian food, and this meal was not bad but not great (I live in NH and miss good italian food, and chinese food....basically anything) My daughter did get pizza and I remember it being better than the usual "disney" pizza. The restaurant itself didn't have a Disney feel, but the service was good. I don't plan on going back not because it was bad but because it wasn't anything special....

I believe Typhoon Lagoon is closed in December. :)

Thanks. This helps a lot. I'll choose Raglan or something else. What about the dueling piano bar place. Do they serve dinner?

That's a Great idea! I am not sure what it is called either but I know my mom has some and I have fabric markers... Now I am not sure which I will do.

I don't know about the pains bar place- I thought that was a lounge. I've heard great things about Raglan Road and we are trying it this trip. They have live music and dance starting after 6 (I think)

I have not heard any reviews regarding Portobello but I feel ya on the Italian food snob part. My grandma was born in Sicily and I haven't had anybody's Arancini except for her's. Now I'm going to try Via Napoli's version of it when we have lunch there in December.

What about keeping your extra day for your very last day and decide which park you wanted to go back for one last hurrah?

I wasn't planning on any water parks. I don't have enough time and I'm wondering if the weather would be warm enough? It IS a nice way to unwind from the hectic parks, though.

My only memories of my grandmother on my Italian side is of her cooking in her Manhattan apartment. :)

My husband and son went last trip to the water park and it was in the 60's I think. I stayed back with a friend. This time I will be alone if they do it-I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather.

For anyone else who likes this idea, If you go to a craft/fabric store and ask for hem tape you'll find it!

This idea eliminates any spending on your part and is something you can do now as you have the stuff. It worked well for me :) We flew transatlantic a few times when she was a toddler ... didn't want to lose her in an airport

The bracelets you can buy almost anywhere because they are fashionable but normally have something printed on them - if you can't get plain just turn them inside out and write your details with a sharpie :)

Whoohoo. I finally found a breakfast at Whispering Canyon and it was on the day we were scheduled for lunch, so I switched the two. With the menu change I really wanted breakfast anyway. We have a 9:05 breakfast there :cheer2:, I guess we can take the boat from FW?

Now to find an earlier breakfast for 1900 Park Fare and Akershus, and I may cancel Cape May but that leaves us with no meals with Minnie and the gang. :confused3 Are the Characters still at Liberty Tree in MK?

:rotfl: See! Thats why I love America - much simpler! Of course you call it hem tape because its .... hem tape! When we were just visiting when DD was a baby she had diaper rash so I went to get some cream and it was called butt paste because its butt paste :rotfl: So I HAD to buy it :thumbsup2

Haha, story of my life. My dryer's favorite food is socks.

Anyone know how much the wp&M option is on hoppers?
For my 10 day hopper, to add it is $22 (after bridging the price by entering once) for 10 entries to add on. For my friend's 7 day hopper it will be $20 for 7 entries. I figure out we'll be using the DisneyQuest option if we do add it on at least once. My friend is contemplating trading in her day at WW of Harry Potter since the cost for her family of four would be $400 for tickets and transportation alone ... but we'll have to see if the weather cooperates.

Ha! That stuff is awesome though its Bordreaux's Butt Paste so I'm not 100% that its American. We still use it as mosquito repellent/on mosquito bites to get rid of the itch, sort of an alternative to calamine lotion.

It's American. It was originally made in Louisiana, I don't know where it is made now.
