CMs are reporting it will be open for the Halloween party, even in soft opening mode, so I would assume it will be open for Christmas too.

Yippee!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Now my Mum is saying she's refusing to go with me - she can take the sneakers, the bag, even the furry legwarmers but shes not putting up with my hair flying off as I'm running down Main Street crying "We're here! We're here!"

Shes such a spoil-sport :snooty:

Guess what .... I'm on the phone to Disney waiting to pay :cool1:

Really? The WIG is what sent it over the edge???? :lmao:

Why the rush to get the trip paid? You still have a couple days, don't you?? :upsidedow

Question about the Osborne Lights: I want to be there for the switch-flip - will WDW eventually put that time on the DHS park calendar? Is it possible to do both Fantasmic and OL on the same night?

Yep! We want to do a 3-4 night grown up trip. Our home resort is OKW but we want to stay at the Boardwalk as our first choice. I am also trying to figure out if where we want to stay for our family trip. I am thinking BLT or WL - being so close to MK would be great with a 2.5 yr old and 4 yr old. :D

Yeah, our home is SSR. I scored BLT standard studio with just the second night waitlisted, hoping for some pixiedust:

Hope your able to get BWV for yours.

My grandmother was put into a rehab facility. On one hand, it's a relief as almost all of her 24 hour care seems to fall on me these days. On the other, kind of scary. But she's getting the care she needs that we can't really provide for her.

Anyway, now I'm refocusing on our trip now! 53 days to go! :cool1::thumbsup2

I was going thru our plans last night & have nothing to tweek! :scratchin:crazy2::faint: So, I've created things to fix, lol.
On our DHS day I have 3 TS booked. I've got H&V in the morning, Sci-Fi in the afternoon & 50's that evening. Too much. So, I'm thinking drop the lunch ADR. Which would you pick for dinner, 50's or Sci-Fi? I'm leaning towards Sci-Fi because I want a big burger! But at 50's you can get a shake as your drink with the DDP, right? Ugh, decisions, decisions.

Any thoughts on Fantasmic? I know last year they added a 2nd showing almost every night at 8pm. Think they'll do the same this time around? I know they added some to November but not for the whole month. Trying to decide which show we'd want to go to & what time we should do dinner.

& last, my 16 year old did decide to come with!! ::yes:::rotfl2: Start the scramble to make the dogs a kennel reservation! It is such a good thing I kept all of the party of 6 ADRs! :scared:

Just finished reading our latest roll-callers :goodvibes

Some Roll Call math for everyone.

We started the new thread 3 days ago and are already at page 38. By my calculations... If we keep this pace, we will be ready for Part 4 in 3 weeks.

We RULE!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I don't think the time was ever on the park calendar. I will check the times guide from last year when I get home. I dont think you could do the switch-flip and then the 6:30 Fantasmic. They are on opposite ends of the park from each other. You could do it easily if they have a second Fantasmic at 8:00. Or you could easily do Fantasmic at 6:30 and then the OL.

Glad your grandma is getting the care she needs.

That is a lot of TS, especially for DHS with all those shows to schedule around. I actually almost made an ADR for Sci-Fi the other day. I forget what it was going to replace. But I decided to leave it alone. I think the fried chicken looks yummy at 50's.

Welcome to all our new roll-callers - today is a busy day!

You'll love this thread - its so much fun. Watch some of them though *whispers* they're kinda hyper .... I'm the quiet conservative one :littleangel:

I almost had tea come out of my NOSE!

I made the mistake of mentioning the Disney Store sale to DH. His response was "you dont need any more shirts!!" Big sigh. And the WS shirts haven't shipped, so he doesn't know about those yet. :rotfl:

Not to change any of the current subjects but did anyone order Cruella online today? She is so pretty! Also....does anyone watch Sons of Anarchy?? Should be awesome tonight!! 43 days out!!! Can't wait!!!

:scared1:I have a small weakness for Disney Store sales. I may have bought a few shirts for this trip in the last couple weeks (like 5 or 6, and some pajama pants). And now I feel like I need a 2012 one!!! :faint:

And the truth comes out that it was "5 or 6" shirts, not 2 or 3!

Not that I want to be an enabler BUT Disney Parks wants us to celebrate Disney's Days of Christmas by offering Free Shipping from Oct. 16-18th. Code is PARKFREE. To me free shipping means you can order extra stuff. :)

I wish I could combine codes, ie. this code with my disney visa discount WAH

Hello everyone, :wave2:

We will be heading to Disney on 12/12/12 (and just NOW realized that date) through Dec 18th. We are currently booked at the Beach Club (with free dining). And now I am second guessing whether that is the right choice for this trip. I have 2 days planned at the Magic Kingdom and plan to do the MVMCP on the 13th. Then one day each at Epcot, HS and AK. We will do the whole back to the resort at midday to play at the pool etc but now I am worrying about the weather and if it will be too cold to actually enjoy the pool and I’m wondering if I should switch to a monorail resort for this trip and try the beach club when it’s a warmer time of year. The prices at Contemporary are so high but Poly seems reasonable. Oh man. Well I have until Oct 28th to decide and get the final payment in. I guess I will hem and haw about it for a while, haha. DH is no help he says “just tell me where to be” lol and we have decided to surprise the girls with this trip so cant really get their input either. Though I know one would say BC the other would say Contemporary. LOL
Do you guys have any thoughts on this?

I am staying at BC as well...over THAT date as well. In fact, my PTR pokes fun on being at WDW on that date...the end of the world!! :thumbsup2

We choose BC due to SAB and proximity to EPCOT. I live in S. Florida so I know that typically weather is nice in December. So I am hoping we can enjoy SAB. The freaky weather in Dec 2010 was kinda rare, so I am banking on that.

:woohoo:

Conservative, yeah WHATEVAH!

and yes, BDL...we indeed RULE.

I so wanted one of the Morocco shirts but forgot about it until the day after they went away! :faint: Darn my forgetfulness.

Autograph books.

Are your kids interested? Do you buy the generic WDW ones or do you make your own?

I made Landon one last year on Shutterfly. I'm debating this year. It is a very nice keepsake, but it seemed to take up so much time & was kind of awkward.

And the truth comes out that it was "5 or 6" shirts, not 2 or 3!

The 2 shirts were just the WS ones. I ordered the long sleeve thermal, a pink retro Mickey and something else a week or two before that. And I bought two others earlier that I haven't worn yet so I could save them for the trip. So I actually have 7 new shirts for this trip. And a few old ones. :confused3

hahah how many days is your trip? At this rate, you could do a fashion show and wardrobe change daily!

Hopefully they still have them in Epcot when we go. I dont know why they limited the online ordering to just a few days. I got UK and Canada.

Thank you!

& it looks like 50s is the default choice anyway, Sci-Fi has no dinner ADRs on our DHS day! ;)

Someone, anyone recommend a QS for lunch in DHS! I've never been a huge fan of food in DHS but we'll have to eat....of course, Starring Rolls is there, we could do a cupcake lunch! :rolleyes1

I have my fingers crossed! The Morocco one had some sentimental meaning, we had dinner there the day after we got married.
