hahah how many days is your trip? At this rate, you could do a fashion show and wardrobe change daily!

8 days, counting departure, which is literally just wake up and drive to the airport. So yes, I will have a few wardrobe changes. It is this thread's fault!!

Autograph books.

Are your kids interested? Do you buy the generic WDW ones or do you make your own?

I made Landon one last year on Shutterfly. I'm debating this year. It is a very nice keepsake, but it seemed to take up so much time & was kind of awkward.

We did the WDW-purchased autograph books when the kids were little. DD would add her own drawings and stickers to them. They mostly have just sat on a shelf.

Last year I bought drawstring bags from amazon with Ariel & Tink pictures on them for DD and her cousin. They had those signed by the characters and had a blast doing it. DH cut a piece of cardboard to lean on and the girls carried them with the cardboard and some sharpies inside. DD now considers that her park bag

Too cute! That's a great idea for when he gets older. Last trip he so did not appreciate all my hard work! I'm thinking the same may be true this time as well, lol, maybe the WDW ones will be good enough for this time around! & it saves me a bit of money!

& it looks like 50s is the default choice anyway, Sci-Fi has no dinner ADRs on our DHS day!

Someone, anyone recommend a QS for lunch in DHS! I've never been a huge fan of food in DHS but we'll have to eat....of course, Starring Rolls is there, we could do a cupcake lunch!

Pizza Planet if you like Disney pizza. And you can get the cappucino cupcake there. My DH requested ABC Commissary. We ate there last year and apparently he really liked his burger. I forgot what it was called, but it had fried shrimp on it. My DH refuses to eat seafood at all. DB and I were cracking up as he eats the shrimp, no idea what they are, and says wow these are really good. So now he knows he likes fried shrimp.

I have my fingers crossed! The Morocco one had some sentimental meaning, we had dinner there the day after we got married.

Aww now I really hope you get it.

We will be arriving in Orlando on Dec 19th. We are headed to MVMCP on the 20th! So very excited to enjoy our first Christmas in Disney! We are staying off property in our 5th wheel this time and are looking forward to a magical vacation!

Almost missed part three. I've been away fromt the boards with way to much stuff to do and when I come back thread is up to part three. Can't believe that. I really need to catch up on the happenings.

So looking forward to this trip. I have a 16 year old girl that I love very much but has been very difficult lately . Not in your going to get yourself killed or overdose or end up jail or get pregnant kind of difficulty. But the mood, we are stupid, back talk, mean to us and brother kind of kid. She has been wiping me out everyday. Anyway, to those with teenage girls it can really suck.

Anyway, this trip is without any kids or husbands Can't wait.

We put our old house on the market this time last year thinking it would take at least a year and we had a contract in January by the first people to look at it. Best of luck getting it to sell!

Well, I had to force myself to admit that a Christmas T-Shirt probably isn't very useful seeing as how it's normally around 40 for a high here in KC in December. Hopefully they'll have something like it in a sweatshirt at the parks.

I agree. You're going to get down there still wanting that sweatshirt, only it's 2012 dated so they'll be almost out of it and you'll spend WAY too much time trying to track one down in the right size and even if you find one it probably won't be on sale as cheap. Think of all the park time you can save just ordering it today

And why on Earth did you tell DH about the sale? Don't you know with shopping you always buy first and ask forgiveness later

Apparently I'm making up for the time lost on these threads today but now I want some opinions on my arrival day.

I had planned on doing DTD once we got there, our flight lands at 1:20pm so I was thinking at Pop by 3:30pm at the latest. We were going to have dinner at T-Rex, look around, do a little shopping, etc. Then I realized a lot of the reviews talked about how loud T-Rex is & decided my youngest would probably not do well. So, change of plan to Earl of Sandwich, yum!

But now I'm thinking maybe heading to the MK & having a QS dinner & looking around a bit. Granted it's a MVMCP night so the MK will close at 7pm. Would it even be worth it? Or should we stick to DTD?

I am bringing a Disney Jr Encyclopedia of characters to use year after year I think.... This is going to be the first year we do autographs...

My grandmother was put into a rehab facility. On one hand, it's a relief as almost all of her 24 hour care seems to fall on me these days. On the other, kind of scary. But she's getting the care she needs that we can't really provide for her.

Anyway, now I'm refocusing on our trip now! 53 days to go!
