THEY ARE LEGWARMERS!!!! :woohoo: (i googled them to see where I could get them)

Those huge furry pink yeti's are legwarmers!! Even better. That means they will be cheaper than I expected, easy to pack, warm & toasty, probably washable and versatile - you could put them on your arms if they were cold.

See. Many reasons why I should buy some.

And just in case we didn't see you with your pink sneakers, bag & hair, these will help us to identify you in a crowd! Who needs a LGMH?!?

Has anyone used any of the hidden mickey apps on thier phones? I have an iPhone and was thinking it would be a good way to pass the time with our 3 year old if we are waiting somewhere....

I don't have a smart phone. In fact, I have the exact opposite of a smart phone. I have a flip-top Nextel. But 1 thing I have wondered about the hidden Mickey apps, was does it give you the exact location, approximate location or just the building? Cuz, exact locations, just seem to take away all the fun.

I would like to point out 2 things this morning.

1) My ticker now has a 1 for the first number!!!! :cool1::banana:

2) I have not changed resorts in 4 days!!! :rotfl:

Congrats on both counts. :thumbsup2

O.M.G. Don't give Wedgie any more ideas!!!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl:

*shakes head* I know, I know .... but they are so cute! Where did your sister get hers? Just want to to know for research purposes, nothing else :rolleyes1

She got them on Ebay pretty cheap. ;)

VALGOOF!!! Are you ok, please tell me you're ok

:p

:lmao:

I'm sorry but exactly what the heck are those and what purpose do they serve, lol. I'm not a stand out kind of person but man of you can rock it DO IT

Her new boyfriend is into rave music and they are for raving... :confused3

You could get two pair and have arm and leg warmers just incase this Decemeber proves to be very cold!!

They come in an amazing variety of colors. But they will cover up your pink shoes. Oh, not if you had them on your arms. :rotfl:

Oh I bet we could tailor them to accentuate those hot pink shoes....

Does anyone know how this will work? I know we'll have some oop expenses (like glasses of wine, tips, etc)......I wanted to get a bunch of WDW gift cards and apply them to my account once we get to WDW. How does that all work? Could I NOT leave my cc info? I don't want any of that stuff charged on my cc, I prefer to use the gift cards so they will all be paid as we incur the extra charges, plus I'll get them at Target and use my Red card which will give me 5% off. Has anyone done anything like this before?

Someone may have answered this by now, but we did this last year. I did leave a cc on file when I checked in, but on the last day when I went to check out, I just handed them a stack of gift cards and told them I wanted to settle up using those instead of my credit card. It was no problem at all!

I don't know the app answer but agree - not so "hidden mickeys" if they give the exact location!

Hi, Touring plans is reporting that the New Fantasyland was open for EMH last night. I am excited because there has been no confirmed reports that it will be open during MVMCP. If they are opening for EMH, I am hoping that part of the park will also be open during MVMCP.

Welcome aboard.

Do you have any ADR's or itineraries that we could critique........ Uh, I mean, compliment you on?

I'm new here. This is my first Disney trip since 1983. We're arriving on 12/10 and staying at BWI. :cheer2:

We only started planning this a week ago, so a lot of ADRs are already gone. So far I've gotten Le Cellier on 12/11 dinner, CP 12/12 Lunch, and I just landed a Tomorrowland dessert party for 12/14. I wasn't planning on doing MVMCP but I really want the dessert party for Wishes. BF loves fireworks and since he's paying for the trip I figured this would be my contribution.

Has anyone done the dessert party?

Trip is paid for but our 45 days is on my bday (which told me we HAD to go).

Are you doing it yourself or going to a salon? My stylist started me on a new product. Not sure what's in it but he got it for a sensitive client and it doesn't have that horrible chemical smell. I like it because the color is so natural. I can ask him the brand.

The salon has tried three different dyes, then I tried at home. I have a reaction no matter what. That would be GREAT if you can ask your guy what he's using - Pretty Please! :flower3:

The only other thing I can think to try is to have my stylist foil my whole head so the dye doesn't touch my scalp, but that would take forever with my really long, thick hair and it would be freaking expensive!

Don't worry my smartphone can be mistaken for a dumbphone often! ;)

I don't know much about them- I thought some ideas on where to look, more interesting ones etc could be fun to know about while waiting in line... Or outside a ride because the kids can't ride all of them.

At my co op we have a few brands of natural dyes. I don't know the names because I don't use them (usually get it done by a stylist) however, I bet if you went to a whole foods or natural food store you could find it. Do you know what you are allergic to in the dye?

No, I don't know exactly what in the dye is causing the problem. I never though about going to a natural food store. We have several different chains nearby. I'll have to check that out!

Wow!! Most of us have been planning for months!!! Kudos to you for being a little more spontaneous. I am doing the dessert party this year for the first time. My BIL and family have done it three times and say they will do it every trip. I think they like not fighting the crowds for a spot for the fireworks.

I think so. At least I hope so! We're doing LaNouba at 6 and rushing to the GF for a Narcoossee ADR at 9!

I think we might just go for the 9:00 show. Then we can stay at MK a bit later, and literally the last thing we'll do will be La Nouba - not a bad way to end the trip!

I keep going back and forth on it. Was thinking of moving La Nouba to Tuesday and then doing MVMCP on Friday night, but that feels like a LOT. It's only a 4 day trip. :P

Edit: OMG my ticker is under 2 months!!!

I hear ya. I just paid off our trip today :cool1: . It is sooooooooooooooooooooo liberating. The only thing left is the pp+ and the waiting.

I know I'm quoting myself here, but I forgot that I wanted to thank JLA for the insight to the Stop n Shop gift card bonus that helped make our trip more affordable.

I would try it. It might be just the severity of the chemicals. If you don't find anything I can get you the brand names and you can maybe get it online?
