Well, now it looks like Sandy is coming straight for us and is now forcasted to be a category 1 hurricane I'm so upset about it, but so thankful I have my husband home with me. I may or may not lose power tomorrow so I'll check in with you all, if at all possible!

I was reading on another board that the new fantasyland won't be open for the December 6th MVMCP due to a private party and that's why there are no reservations for BOG on the 6th either. Was wondering if anyone else heard the same thing and if you were allowed to switch party dates?

So happy you posted this, that was the night I was thinking of buying tickets for MVMCP.

I think Josh said they have a private event for Wed as well, but the whole park closes 7:00, no MVMCP that night.

I'm going to go with Thursday and hope for the best.

It was me! It took two hours! Which put me running behind all day, so I'm just getting back here. It went well, I think. I felt like I did a great job and got a lot of positive feedback. They only picked four to interview. Ack, now the wait!

I know this is the wrong group to ask any question about spending $$, but I am going to put it out there anyway. I am contemplating buying the Dessert Buffet for the night we go to the party (not wanting to waste time waiting for fireworks on mainstreet). What are all your thoughts about the Dessert Buffet during the Christmas Party.

By the way i also purchased the disney fleeces from disney store today.

You mean the Dessert Party right? I was also contemplating it but then, I looked at it this way - party $55 Dessert $25 = $80 ... thats a pretty expensive evening. Then you have to factor in if you are doing the dessert party, then you won't make it from there, to a good spot for the 2nd parade which means you'll have to do the first parade which is packed, you'll need to pick a spot pretty early and thats time you could have doing M&Gs or rides.

You are tucked away at the dessert party so you also lose out on the atmosphere. I really wanted to do it but if I do it on our first MK night, we will miss the electrical parade, which we haven't seen, and our other MK night is the party so, we'll leave it for our next trip

If you REALLY want the job you should write a hand written thank you note. That is the proper way to thank them. Good luck!

We're doing both. But I'm not going to MVMCP for the parades or m&g. I want the atmosphere and it was the only day I could get the dessert party. I planned it as a surprise for DBF since he loves fireworks. I figure after we'll ride some rides and shop.

Good luck! I once went through an all day interview-I think it was 9-4 basically on and off. Had to also give a presentation at the end of the day. Thankfully I got the job.
