Nah. We didn't look like we wanted to win at all. I don't know what happened.....too many rookies? Anyway it's all good! Only now there's no hockey and our football teams sucks rocks. :). I still have 2011 :)

Guess it's all a matter of perspective. Dad says one if the reasons he's liking St. Louis so much is the sports teams are actually good. Granted, you compare just about ANY football team to the Chiefs and they're going to look good........

Unfortunately our schedule doesn't allow for AK after dark so we'll leave that for next time - our AK day, we have an ADR at DTD at 6pm.

Excited for you to see DHS after dark. In my opinion, its beautiful! My hubby and I could just wander around for hours after dark in DHS - the architecture of the 40's all lit up :goodvibes we love DHS!
That sounds just like what we're going to do! I'm planning to hit DHS after dark with DH, just to wander around during EMH. It's the same day as we'll be at AK, so we won't last too long but I just want to see it at night- and the Osborne lights, of course. Which I also have never seen.
We did AK last Jan when it was dark. I think it was before they cancelled EMH. Anyway, we did Safari and the animals during the day. Then after the park emptied out we did EE and Dino-Land. I remember DS did the Boneyard and all the carnival games. And DSis and I rode Dinosaur back to back and the second time we were the only ones on the ride.
I'd love to see Dinoland at night- it just seems like a place that would have fun lighting with the roadside carnival theme it has going on. I've got lunch ressies at Y & Y for 1 pm, so we can rest up a little and last all day. I'm somewhat of a theme park wimpus. Well, actually, I'm a wimpus in general.:lmao:

OMG, all these "... my cat lived til well after I was dead" stories are making me

I have two cats that I actually invited in. I have a third one who has lived on our deck since 2005 but is now not too well so we have had to bring him in (or maybe he's faking :confused3) and I'm sure over the years more strays will come our way or abandoned kittens .... and they are all gonna live forever!!

I'm gonna need one of these

LOL!
I'm sending that pic to my daughter. She says she's a future crazy cat lady. And she left her horribly spoiled fat black kitty for me to contend with when she went to school. Today I took a nap and he slept on my head and purred the whole time. He weighs 22 lbs so I didn't get much sleep.

The other one is a "special" kitty- he's so dumb he's set himself on fire three times. All my candles have to be in jars now. :sad2:

I hope so too. I received a cortisone shot last month for two pinched nerves (neuromas) and b/c of it I got an inflammation in my middle toe and a swelled foot. I've been on anti-inflammatory meds which helped a lot, but didn't heal it completely. My doctor is holding off on the rest of the shots I'm supposed to get until after our vacation and once it's healed.

I've had a cortisone shot in my foot before but have never had this problem :headache:
I sympathize. I've had RA for a while now, when I first got it my rheumatologist actually gave me a steroid shot in my big toe joint- I was very impressed she could hit that little target! My feet are better now, but I gave up walking at Disney and now I rent an ECV for the week. Which the kids love so they can throw all their stuff in my basket and send me for FPs.:)

Where do you eat the next day? Which night are you doing the dessert party? We are the 17th. I really need a printout of everyone's schedule. :confused3

I could set up something in Google Docs we could all input our schedules into if anyone's interested.

:rotfl: I can see DS10 doing that and asking for a ride on top of that! Actually, DH has mentioned it me about renting one. However, the pain is nothing like it was last month where I could barely walk on it. Now, I can walk on it and the pain on the ball of my foot feels more like a bad bruise. Even my doctor says I've improved a lot since last month. But I'm worried about the amount of walking while in Disney. We can always take breaks if needed.

I know this is the wrong group to ask any question about spending $$,:rotfl2: but I am going to put it out there anyway. I am contemplating buying the Dessert Buffet for the night we go to the party (not wanting to waste time waiting for fireworks on mainstreet). What are all your thoughts about the Dessert Buffet during the Christmas Party.

By the way i also purchased the disney fleeces from disney store today.

I think with all the cat talk today we need a song...

Soft kitty,
Warm kitty,
Little ball of fur.
Happy kitty,
Sleepy kitty,
Purr, purr, purr.

OK Who was it that had an interview this morning? How did it go???:scratchin

It was me! It took two hours! Which put me running behind all day, so I'm just getting back here. It went well, I think. I felt like I did a great job and got a lot of positive feedback. They only picked four to interview. Ack, now the wait!

I was debating on doing the same thing so I'm interested to see what everyone says.

:rotfl2: I needed that. Just got off the phone with my MIL and she said she saw my pic today (I take weekly belly pics and post them on my fb for the surrobabys family) and says "someone is getting pudgy"

Well happy thoughts that you get the job! :)

Send a thank you email if you haven't already. I got my last 2 jobs in part because my interviewers were so impressed that I bothered to send a thank you note. It can't hurt!!!

Will do! The interviewer called me to ask for one more document, so when I send that I can totally!

We are in the 30s ladies and gents!!! 39 days till my car is heading south on 95! It's gettin so close as I'm mounting quite the to do list!!
:cool1:
We plan on using snack credits for many breakfasts.......I consider a cupcake breakfast food :lmao: one credit for a cappuccino one for pastry/cupcake. It looks like biscuits/gravy at our food court is a snack credit. Chicken fried rice at AK is a snack credit. Soups are snack credits as well as side salads. There's a thread on the DIS that lists all things listed as snack credits!
I didn't know you could get fancy coffees as a snack credit ... DH might end up sharing my breakfast pastry and getting one since he's a latte addict ... oh, but there's so many good pastries at Kusafiri I don't know if we'll be able to pick just 2 instead of 3.
So I'm going to AK on Sunday, Dec. 16. I looked it up and on that day the sun sets at 5:31 pm in Orlando (LOL. I'm not obsessed or anything). What's open after dark? Is it worth staying? I know the train & its stations will be closed, anything else? The park is open until 7 pm. Thanks!

Ooh, this is tempting me to make our first day a long one in AK. Currently we're planning on waking up early, then taking a midafternoon break around 3p to go check into our new room at BLT before our 7p Garden Grill reservation, but it would be awesome to see AK after dark ... maybe we should wake up late instead, stay at the park from 11-6p then head straight for Epcot.

Well, just try to get off your feet whenever you can, don't wait for your feet to hurt- I call it "pre-emptive sitting". :goodvibes:

I'm thinking of doing that myself- I'm a little worried about us not getting to do everything we want to by missing rope drop though... I've always been so obsessive about that. Maybe we don't need to be this time, though, I don't know.....:confused3

Those PJ's are darling, I received an email today from the Disney store. That reminds me I have a pkg coming ups tomorrow. I ordered the black Vinylmation backpack to take on my WDW holiday. I also ordered a Vinylmation for my DS, I will put it away for Christmas. It's the rootbeer one, DS loves rootbeer!

Most importantly, December 5th is Walt Disney's Birthday!!! :bday:

Sweet! They wouldn't bother asking for that document if they weren't still interested. That's a good sign :)
