So this morning, DBF and I are talking and I'm going on about how excited I am that we're down to 16 days and I can't wait to be surrounded by Christmas and with my most favorite man... yadda, yadda, yadda, you all get the gist... yes, I'm feelin' the love today...

"I know babe, it's going to be amazing. But I've decided, I don't want to get to the park until it's dark on our first day."

Me: "uh, what? *** (Why the Face, ala Phil Dunphy)"

Him: "I want the first time I see Main Street to be when it's all lit up"

(Now keep in mind folks, we arrive at WDW at 1pm!! We have an ADR at 4:15 at LTT!!! ONE THAT I BOOKED WITH HIS 100% KNOWLEDGE!)

Me: "Aw, love... um, how's that gonna work? We have LTT at 4:15, remember?" (slowly dying inside)

Him: "Dunno"

I find it hard to deal with such anger because in real life, I just don't get angry ..... unless you mess with my family or friends.

You made me laugh in one (of the many) MSB threads about meeting Belle in Epcot now

I couldn't resist. For some reason that just popped into my head. Maybe I have Belle on the brain!

And I don't get the attitudes either. I hang out on the DIS to think about my happy place. I'm amazed at the number of really uptight people here (not here.... as in this thread...... but the DIS in general).

I said that all the cinnamon buns will be squashed flat and we will hear then scream.

I thought it was funny. Apparently not.

LOL, I totally missed that. But then I can only take so much of that thead. There's one poster there that really rubs me the wrong way. I can only handle her in VERY small doses. I know I should put her on my ignore list....... but sometimes I just need a good laugh!

The glasses have Mickey heads etched into them. I was considering getting new flutes when we were there anyway. The cleaning lady just broke 2 of ours the other week. Thankfully they were just cheap clear ones.

Haven't decided if I'll go with the stocking for him or the spa package for us... I'm thinking the stocking is more appropriate, although I love the towels in the spa package

4 weeks exactly! Or, 18 1/2 works days. Ha!

Everything, I think. ADRs gotten, schedule mostly planned aside from our first day park. Pearl cage necklaces bought for pick-a-pearl. Made my packing list. Got some cheap vinyls from the Disney Store so my partner has a stash for trading. Got MVMCP tickets.

3. What do you have remaining to do?
Cancel an appointment at The Pirate's League. Pack. Cancel the many ADRs I don't need.

4. Are you decorating your hotel room?
I just have a single package of green and red Mickey Mouse head-shaped lights to put around the window.

I actually don't think so. Everything seems like it will work out OK.

I feel like we have too many ADRs and we won't be doing anything but eating. I'm stressed I won't have enough spending money for the things I want to buy.

Just ordered DBF the holiday Mickey stocking from Disney Floral. It'll be embroidered with his name, have 2 bags of popcorn (caramel/nuts and chocolate caramel) and some chocolate covered pretzels also a candy cane and a special coin to use for Cinderella's wishing well... I'm gonna steal that one

With delivery, tax and embroidery total was $86.

So excited! now, if I can just keep my mouth shut and not spill the beans...

1. How many days till your upcoming trip? 25! I haven't been paying attention the last few days and it dawned on my just how close we are getting to departure day! GULP

2. What do you have done?
Well, a rough schedule for the week, dog boarding booked, a packing list made, purchased gift cards, and some clothes for DD put aside. Otherwise, this is the source of stress.

3. What do you have remaining to do?
LOTS! Or at least it feels that way! Need to:
-Get some additional clothes
-Start packing (or getting stuff ready for suitcases)
-Finalize touring plans (ride order post rope drop)
-Get oil change for car
-Get snacks and stuff in ziplocks for DD during the day
-Figure out Elf on the Shelf 'stuff' for when away
-some sort of thing to put on stroller so it stands out in the crowd. IDEAS?
-Would like thank you style business cards to give CMs. Not sure I will get to this. I don't have a color printer. I am lame.

I have Mickey head lights (or Toodles as DD calls them) for the room. That's about all they we will do. I am sure we will get DD a balloon, so that's decoration too. Oh and the Santa popcorn bucket!

Not really. I actually need to finalize our ADR list and cancel a couple things. (Don't worry, I am not holding on to any desirable ADRs that are hard to get!

Just pondering our park visit schedule, such as what time we want to go to AK on the Friday we are there. Rope drop or go with Josh of EasyWDW's suggestion of hitting AK later in the day. That kinda stuff. Otherwise, we have MVMCP and first haircut at Harmony booked. ADRs are mostly done except pondering where to dine Friday night.

When I book a vacation a long time in advance, I always have a period where I am "meh" or disinterested in planning. It tends to happen, well about 25 days in advance of the trip. It's not that I am unexcited, it's probably how I hide my stress about what's left to do. But now that I have written out what I have left to do, I feel better and have a game plan.
