Yes, There is a form that the higher schools use that includes everyone and a ton more detail. I just can't remember the name of it. I had to it for my daughter last year when she applied to Brown, Boston University and a few others. This would be for aid from the school. DH and I are still married so it was easier for us but they did ask for how much our mortgage was and I think medical bills and such.DH had to fill out a FAFSA (or maybe it was a form unique to the school) for the his daughter by his first wife. I remember the school even called him. Come to think of it, it was most likely just her school's form. I had a son by my first husband, and I didn't include him on the FAFSA.
FAFSA is simpler and if parents are not together then the parent that provides more than 50% is the parent that has to provide there info.
