What times are the Osborne lights??? Are they around the entire park? I've haven't been at wdw for the holidays since I was a kid.

It depends on sunset what time it starts, it will say on the park map that day.

They are in the Streets of America part of DHS. It will be obvious even before they are lit, since there are millions of lights in that small section.

It must be gorgeous out there! We live in Northern NH and I am not ready for it either!!

It's very nice, but it's pretty far from everywhere- especially from warm places! But we're not really warm-weather people, we just like to visit... often.
I spend a lot on airplane tickets!

Disney says my DME stuff did ship. But she wants me to wait until after Thanksgiving. If it doesn't show up by then, they'll FedEx it to me.

That's a long time to wait.
It seems to me that the people at Disney are usually quite helpful, but it sounds like someone might just not have wanted to address the issue.....
I don't think I'd wait nearly two more weeks to call back.

Wow. Am I the first one on this morning? Good morning! DH left at 6:40 this morning and for some reason had to wake me up to tell me, even though I knew what he was doing. So of course I couldnt go back to sleep, so laundry is running, fb has been read and now I am on here. I have a major dilemma. I need a distraction. Last night I picked DH up after he ran over a deer someone had just hit.... I got to drive 45 miles on a deer infested highway at midnight after being up since 3:45am... I am exhausted. New car has a broken radiator and bottom plastic thing ripped off... Thankfully we have full coverage... And a $250 deductible....

I'm still grumpy though

Yes so today- trip to Boston canceled but I am going to the premium outlets for RETAIL THERAPY! I know everyone will appreciate that! Hehe I'll post my Disney swag later! Haha

OT  Friday I had carpet cleaners coming. So I got up an hour early to pick everything up off the carpets. Ugh. The clutter is killing me. I used to be really dedicated to FlyLady but then a couple years ago my commitments just got overwhelming and I fell off. Now Im doing much better in the over-commitment area but its still taking time to discharge some obligations. In the mean time Im totally drowning in clutter. The worst example  when I cleaned a pile out from under the desk in the library and found stuff from our last Disney trip in Oct 2011.

So I know I really don't have time in the next 3 weeks to tackle the problem but I had to do something. Unfortunately most of the clutter right now is for things that need to go to charity or things that don't have a home ( or that home is an even worse disaster). So I spent most of yesterday starting a charity pickup and rearranging some of the kitchen stuff. Then I did Project Life catchup; I want to be caught up by the time we leave.

So yesterday was productive but I didn't work on any Disney stuff. And of course today I have regular chores, bills, helping DS with a book report. So now I'm down to 3 weeks left with a large list left to do and having a bit of a freak out.

In related news - DH talked to his Dad on Thurs. and he basically said he was disappointed with the pace of his recovery. Still hoping for Plan A but right now I'm focusing on B.

Basically I am not sure if my countdown today is at 34 days, 27 days or 370 days.
DH is having work issues and may be changing positions in December. This would be fine and it is not his decision to make but he would prefer to change. The problem is, someone in the new department has his week of vacation scheduled, so DH would have to switch to a week earlier. So my trip that has been planned for months either stays the same, or I am planning a trip in 20 days or we postpone to next November. There are pros and cons to each option. And I wont know anything for sure until next Monday. So now I am like Terri with the multiple plans.
Plan A----Dec 15-22. Current trip, all planned and paid for.
Plan B----Dec 8-15. Would still get to go this year, but it would not be the trip I planned. No dessert party, Le Cellier or Ohana. I would lose free dining, so we would probably do OOP and do just a couple TS. I have made a few ADRs, not sure what I will keep. This was what we had planned on doing originally until free dining was extended. Kind of excited about the flexibility of this and the ability to eat more snacky foods. Most of the plan would stay the same. Not sure if I can change my MVMCP ticket date. I know I cant get a refund. Would need to decide if I want to pay for them again. Would crunch the numbers again for a different resort, if we are paying less for tips, maybe no party and probably would not do pp+. Airfare is cheaper. Would be there at the same time as many of you, but would not get to meet Jordan, grrrenlyl, molitva and everyone else that is going the next week.
Plan C----Nov 16-23, 2013. It's so far away!!!!! Life is short and who knows what will happen in the next year to prevent me from going. BUT I would be able to plan a trip again. I would definitely stay deluxe. Depending on whether or not my DB gets a full time teaching job after graduation or subs next year, he might be able to go. That would be nice, but not something I could plan on at this point. I would try again for BOG and things would be less crazy than this year with all the new openings. Would miss the big MK tree, but I think most of the other decorations would be up. Need to check that schedule of the holiday events.

So I could be fine with any of the options, just frustrated to have to wait to make any necessary changes. You can chime in whether you would do plan B or C if I end up needing to make that choice.
