Gingerbread? I love me some gingerbread. Where can I buy it?

I'm told it sold at the GF out of the Gingerbread house. I'm also told it's not that good. I LOVE gingerbread both the cake type and the harder cookie type that was popular in the Colonial times. It was requested as a can you bring some back for me.

Its tough. I am a very vocal person, I have passion about A LOT of things from politics to sparkles. But, I accept everyone for their passions no matter how different they are from own (unless they are being mean/evil etc) because that is what makes the world go around and, sometimes we learn great things from one another if we just shift our perspective for a moment.

And other times, events like this make us realise or understand whether a friendship is actually real or not. Hope you get it sorted, either way x

That said I completely agree with you. If we all had the same opinions and passions the world would be a boring place.

Last night it was said we were getting 4-6". I hope that's changed. I have warm jammies and bought lots of leftover Halloween candy. I just need to stop at the grocery on the way home for beer, Coke Zero and Seltzer water. Maybe ice cream too since Ben & Jerry's is on sale. I'm just hoping that there is still some left by the time I get there.

I'm house sitting for a family friend today thru Sunday. They have a hot tub with a cover, so I could relax in it tonight even with the snow falling, with a mug of hot chocolate on the table next to it. Note to self: pick up hot chocolate on my way there after work!

It's funny that you say that. I had started calling myseld Seanta Claus a few years ago, and no one seemed to disapgree with that. So, when I started my charity a few years ago, I wanted to remain as anonymous as possible, to the recipients. So I dubbed myself "Seanta Claus", and that is who provides the donations.

AHHH. Today is the day I have been waiting for... the election is over. I work as an event planner for a University and being in a swing state, my life since school started in August has been non-stop political events. I told myself I would celebrate Wednesday the 7th as a holiday and the day I could let myself be REALLY excited for Disney because I had nothing but Thanksgiving in the way...

Tomorrow is DS's 5th birthday. My boss has a cookie business on the side, and I commissioned her to make Avengers cookies for his class treat. They turned out excellent:



He's going to be so excited!

It's been a cold drizzly morning in WI, but it's slowly turning to snow....

I work as an event planner for a University and being in a swing state, my life since school started in August has been non-stop political events. I told myself I would celebrate Wednesday the 7th as a holiday and the day I could let myself be REALLY excited for Disney because I had nothing but Thanksgiving in the way...

things have been crazy here! We put our house on the market last Thursday and are countering 2 offers today! We also found a house we like and are probably making an offer in the next 3 days. Add to this a WDW vacation! We have been joking about closing and faxing paperwork from AKL and I hope it doesn't come down to it.

Really happy here about a proposition that passed that will give money to the public schools and selfishly help me get more hours at work but also provide more classes to the students!

So while I haven't read the board in a few days I hope everyone is doing well. And if there are any new developments/links regarding hours/openings or whatever at WDW can you post them? Thanks. I'll check in later today

A fellow Coke Zero lover! I only will drink coke zero from a foundtain machine. Preferrably from Chick Fil A. I've noticed a lot of the places at WDW don't seem to have Coke Zero listed (or pictured) on the menu. A few do though. Seriously, Coke Zero is my life bloof.

Congrats on the offers! That has to be a relief. And I'm jealous of you (and others) low countdown! I'm still over 5 weeks away

Welcome aboard.

You will not be disappointed. Christmas at Disney is mind blowing. If you can find the time, maybe book a meal at 1 of the monorail resorts. Before/after eating, take the time to ride the monorail to see how they are decorated. Especially the Grand Floridian with it's 50' tree and life-sized gingerbread house. Also, see if you can budget some time to walk the World Showcase at EPCOT. So that you can get an earfull of the Candlelight Processional.

And MVMCP is a blast. The shows, the parades, the free hot chocolate and cookies, the special merchandise, seeing it snow on Main St., and the non-existent lines for the rides makes it worth the cost.

Wow! Your description is awesome and makes me that much more excited about our first trip to Disney during the holidays!
