We are in Disney and it has been an awesome first trip! We had planned to leave at 1 am Thursday morning and checkin around noon, well dh got home from work early wed and had a nice nap. so as we were packing the car wed night the kids were so excited we decided to just leave right then at 7:30pm! We arrived in Disney world at 4am, hit the ihop and them checked in at6 am. We have been at AoA for two nights now and love it! Little mermaid rooms are just beautiful and my kids were perfectly happy to leave MK today after lunch to go back the the mermaid house

MK was great this morning an yesterday bit around noon today it just got crazy. Couple thoughts about things I would have liked to know before I went:
Definitely shorts and swimming weather! I was way too hot in jeans, just needed a light sweater in the evening.
Little mermaid is awesome and worth a fast pass. Got two fast passes for dumbo that we never used, just not worth it.
Love the play area in the dumbo line, better than the ride itself. Magic carpets is just like dumbo with no line so we rode that many times. Ditto with the pooh ride, the kids loved the line as much as the ride!
CRT for breakfast was everything we hoped for! Dd was so happy she almost cried. The lobster crab creeps were the highlight of my trip and dh could not stop talking about the stuffed toast. Cute souvenirs and just a magical experience. Plus we got to check off most of the must do MandG in one hour.
The circus meet and greets were ds favorite part, very nice interaction and comfortable shaded waiting.
Getting there for rope drop was definitely worth it. The kids loved the train and the show - we saw every show, and the drewm show three times because the kids got so excited eferytime. We got to walk in to the belle attraction and LM with basically no waiting, and after that first hour it was nearly an hour wait all day.
Wish I had brought a coffee maker as they do not provide the here.
Anything else? Everyone else is sleeping now so we can take advantage of EMH after the electric parade at 9pm. Can't wait, hope the kids can handle it!
