I'm late to the party even though I've been planning this trip forever it feels like! This will be my family's second trip to the World! Its my third trip. All of us except the youngest have been to DL, myself more than anyone else as I'm from the area. It will be my 2 year olds first trip!

We check in December 5th to Art of Animation & are staying in a Cars suite! We'll be surprising our boys with the trip and I can't wait to see the look on our oldest's face!

We'll be attending MVMCP on the 6th for the first time! Last trip, also in December, we didn't attend so I can't wait!

And it's the second time I'll be celebrating my birthday at the World! Can you tell I'm excited!

I just got one too. It doesn't really work for my Hollywood Studios day either but we may just do a little more park hopping! Last time we missed out on Toy Story Mania because the fast passes were gone so quickly so it will be nice to have one already reserved!

That reserved FP for TSMM would DEFINITELY be worth some extra park hopping!

My two year old is obsessed with Cars, especially Mater which is why we chose it. I'll definitely report back! I sure hope it's worth it!

Under the 2 week mark and still so much to do. Wrapping presents is one of those headaches but the baking is done, which are my gifts. Gotta love the smell of sugar cookies in the house. So excited to be back in the sunshine state and we have made our reservations for February and will experience an on-site stay for the first time.

Welcome to the group! I've been once before in December and didn't attend MVMCP then.....but my husband and I are going solo this time and we ARE attending! We decided to do the party in lieu of getting another days park ticket as we get military hoppers. Hoping I can get the little one to nap before going to the park, but either way I think he'll be so amped he'll hopefully be fine! I am so excited for this surprise, but it has been hard to keep! My oldest is 12 so he's pretty quick on the uptake but do far I think we're good!

I have to share this, if it even helps just one person...or makes someone think twice. I was driving home this afternoon and had merged onto the highway; two lanes had been shutdown due to construction. I had about a mile to go before the highway I was on split into two different highways so, I put on my directional to move over to the left. I had a car in front of me, a car in front to my left and a car behind to the left. Once I put my directional on the car from the back left sped up just enough so, that there was no room for me to merge in. As we approached the split, this car sped up so fast that I couldn't move over at all...it was too late to go to the right...the only thing ahead of me was the guardrail and the breakdown lane...and then an overpass. The roadrage that this driver to my left exhibited was completely unprovoked and his need to be ahead of me almost caused me to crash into the guardrail and it sickens me (literally) to think of what my outcome would have been. Today is my DD's bday...a possible proposal in two weeks during an amazing vacation planned to blend two families...this truly angry man has no idea how much devastation he potentially could have caused just because he needed to get in front of me. I just don't get it! Sorry to vent...today was truly a great day, until this occurred...and there is so much happiness on this board, especially today, since there are some of are starting their trips...but, I am so shaken up...for the obvious reason but, also because it saddens me that there are some truly mean people in the world.

So sorry. I can imagine how shaken up you must have been. Like Kathy said, people are crazy. What would the emoticon for crazy look like? Hmmm....

I'm a local passholder, but I hope it's OK if I join in on the fun here as I have a special visit planned December 17-18. My good friend Whitney is coming to visit and we are heading to the parks those days, the featured event being dinner at BOG! We are beyond excited, as BatB is a favorite Disney movie for both of us!! I've been for lunch already but really can't wait for dinner. We will be staying at either the DTD Hilton or ASMu

I just got an email for Fastpass Plus!!!

Of course, the Hollywood Studios days aren't ones that work for me. I wonder if I wait if the later dates will be available...

Yay, for fast pass plus! We arrive on the 15th and I am really hoping for one. I would love to have it for TSM. I am afraid I won't be able to get my brood up and out to be at DHS by rope drop. Hopefully, we will get there in time to at least get a regular fast pass. How does the plus work? Do they say you can select fast passes for MK for __ day and for DHS for ___ day?

Very exciting. This is our first trip in Dec and we are going to MVMCP on the 16th. We went to MNSSHP last year and loved it. Hoping MCMCP will be just as much fun.

I finally made it to the dr. In addition to my sinus infection, I have fluid in both ears and an infection in my left ear. Dr. gave me cough medicine, a z pack, and a steroid pack. And, warned me the steroids would probably increase my appetite! What?! I'm supposed to eat less now so I can eat more at Disney. Steroid induced hunger + WDW dining + holiday treats = a Weight Watchers membership in January.

I still have not received any Mickey Mail. I'm 15 days out tomorrow. Shouldn't it be here by now? I need something fun in the mail to balance out the bills!

Well, we decided to go to HS early on our first day and then head to MK (and MVMCP eventually). I cancelled our reservation at the Plaza Restaurant that day, made one for a little later AND a just-in-case one for the following all-day MK day. Ha! Here's what we got...

Jungle Cruise
Winnie the Pooh - I loathe this ride, but my partner loves it, so I'm glad we'll be able to just hop on and off instead of having to wait in line or waste a FP.
Enchanted Tales with Belle - So glad this was an option because I didn't want to wait around forever for this one.
Peter's Pan's Flight - This is one I like to go on once, but wouldn't want to use a FP on.

I would have loved to get a Fantastic! seating one (if they even do that), but none of the F! days were on days that worked for us.

I'm almost done with my baking too......I've never been this organized before Christmas so I will attribute that to our trip in 9 days! Gee, I think maybe we should go to WDW every year in December!

They are offering it to guests using ME between the 11th and 15th as a trial.

I'm glad you went to the doctor. Let's nip this one in the bud! I would have thought you would have had your Mickey Mail. Did you use a TA or this trip? I would call about it.

WoW!!!! Lucky girls! I will continue to hope or an email but we are not taking ME from the airport to our resort......we're just taking it rom our resort to MCO for the trip home.
