PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I have to share this, if it even helps just one person...or makes someone think twice. I was driving home this afternoon and had merged onto the highway; two lanes had been shutdown due to construction. I had about a mile to go before the highway I was on split into two different highways so, I put on my directional to move over to the left. I had a car in front of me, a car in front to my left and a car behind to the left. Once I put my directional on the car from the back left sped up just enough so, that there was no room for me to merge in. As we approached the split, this car sped up so fast that I couldn't move over at all...it was too late to go to the right...the only thing ahead of me was the guardrail and the breakdown lane...and then an overpass. The roadrage that this driver to my left exhibited was completely unprovoked and his need to be ahead of me almost caused me to crash into the guardrail and it sickens me (literally) to think of what my outcome would have been. Today is my DD's bday...a possible proposal in two weeks during an amazing vacation planned to blend two families...this truly angry man has no idea how much devastation he potentially could have caused just because he needed to get in front of me. I just don't get it! Sorry to vent...today was truly a great day, until this occurred...and there is so much happiness on this board, especially today, since there are some of are starting their trips...but, I am so shaken up...for the obvious reason but, also because it saddens me that there are some truly mean people in the world.

I see this in most metro areas in the northeast... I now live in Northern NH where people don't even pay attention and move over at the last second... Sometimes it's as bad as the j o driver who has some stupid control issue sorry you had to deal with it! One thing I don't miss about NJ!!!

Some people seriously shouldn't be given a driver's license!

I'm thinking the same thing! Hoping DBF loves it enough after this visit that HE is the one begging me to go back!

So I'm waiting on DH... Drive down to pick him up bc we are returning the rental why we are away... So annoying - I have so much left to do and could have used these 3 hours!!! Grrr!!! However this time tomorrow I will be wandering the Jambo house at AKL!!!

I did however clean the house and my car

My good friend Whitney is coming to visit and we are heading to the parks those days, the featured event being dinner at BOG! We are beyond excited, as BatB is a favorite Disney movie for both of us!! I've been for lunch already but really can't wait for dinner. We will be staying at either the DTD Hilton or ASMu

I'm sorta the same way about packing. I'll start pulling stuff out on Sunday, adding and subtracting for a couple days before going through it all and finishing up Wednesday night.

I just got one too. It doesn't really work for my Hollywood Studios day either but we may just do a little more park hopping! Last time we missed out on Toy Story Mania because the fast passes were gone so quickly so it will be nice to have one already reserved!

I'm the same way. The only thing I have in my suitcase is some summer stuff and I have my backpack and a bunch of little stuff I've picked up this week that needs organized. I'll do some wash Saturday and then pack for our departure Sunday
