And people start traveling today I think too. I still have 8 days (6 working days) before we leave, but I am glad some get to start their vacations really soon

Thank you. I haven't gotten a chance to get a bunch of magnets made for our door, but those golden Mickey rings is one of the graphics I do already have for our door announcing our anniversary trip.

Just a quick question. We have never used Magical express before, always have driven down. This year we are flying down. I noticed on our ME ticket for pick-up from our resort after the cruise that our flight time is not on it. Should I contact them with our return flight number and time?

Good question and one I don't have an answer for. Hopefully someone will chime in with a couple good suggestions. As for our FE gifts, everyone is getting exactly the same thing regardless of age. They will just be personalized with name, cabin number, and a favorite Disney character. I had briefly thought about doing different FE gifts for the different age groups, but quickly abandoned that thought as I barely have enough time to do just the one gift for everyone! So, our gifts may be a little over the heads of the youngest guests in our groups, but I still included a little something in them that they should enjoy. Plus, they are personalized, so there is that.

I can't wait to start handing these puppies out! Well, er... they're not really puppies. I think DCL might frown on that, plus then there's the whole thing about how to get 40+ yipping puppies past security. We plan to start distributing our FE gifts as soon as possible because they are relevant to the actual time we will be aboard the ship (i.e. they will be pretty much useless after the cruise). So, make sure you get your FE hangers up as quickly as you can!

Today is the calling credit cards, doing household do-dads stuff (like picking up cat food for the week)--so we can be prepared to go.
It needs to get done today as this weekend we are celebrating my youngest daughter's 21st birthday!
She's is very excited.
Me, not so much.
Milestone birthdays for my girls are always very difficult. It's good I have this wonderful trip planned to take my mind off of it all...!!

I'm pretty much done packing. Just picking up something from the tailor's tomorrow....!!

We are already on vacation. Finally able to get back to the boards by using my phone. If it helps we have 8 more days until our Disney Cruise.

I know this is not as fun as before but it still only 8 days left.

I have a question about booking shore excursions. Is there any place on the DCL site where it lists the specific times of the port adventures? I see where it says how long each one lasts, but it doesn't say when it starts or ends. This makes it difficult to plan activities back on the ship if you have no idea when you'll be back. For example, on Pirate Night, we have the Main Seating. So our dinner begins at 5:45pm. I'm trying to plan how long before that I need to be back on board in order to have enough time to get my Jack Sparrow costume on (it takes a while, makeup & wig & such). I want to make sure I book a port adventure that gets me back in plenty of time, but nothing shows the times, only how long they last.

Thank-you. We are staying at the Contemporary before the cruise so will leave it until then.

DH just informed me that it is 168 hrs until we are in Disney. YIKES. I haven't really got anything in the suitcases yet, plus working until Tuesday morning. Boy to I need this break.

Unless I’m missing something, I don’t think everyone is bringing goodies newcomer. Some Parleyers have treats planned that are indigenous to them so they decided to bring some along to share. Since Wisconsin cheese won’t hold up in the Florida weather too well, we are coming empty handed. Unless, of course, you consider our smiles and presence as good enough.

Just bring yourselves and your arms.....hugs are just as good and not fattening. I remember the first time we met Nancy. Dropping off our luggage at the port and you turned and I turned and we just said together - "Nancy" "Heather" and just hugged.

You won't know until you start the booking process on the website. The system will place you in the first available slot for the tour you've selected.
