Parksavers tix, quick question

I think something else may be going on. I just got an email from parksavers that says that there will be a delay of a few days because their "ticketing partner put Walt Disney World tickets on a temporary maintenance and potentially changing of ticket sales." They did say that my price is locked in because I bought them earlier, so it's just a minor inconvenience.

They did say that their partner might change the prices but as of now they are the same till July 31st. that is what they told me but that could change at anytime. and yes you should be locked in because they are already paid for I would not worry there.

Yikes, I literally just ordered a ticket for my daughter for our trip in October and was planning on getting my son's before the end of the month. I got an email with my receipt so hopefully it will got thru. It's such a great deal.

This is a stupid question (and I apologize if its already been asked and I just didn't it). We are going in October 2017. We haven't officially booked our resort yet, but I do have an MDE account already from past trips. Since I know we WILL be getting magic bands for our resort stay in October 2017 (and we already have bands from our 2015 trip), there shouldn't be any problem purchasing the tickets NOW even though we don't have our resort booked yet, right? I can still go ahead and link these tickets to my MDE now and it'll link to our existing bands and automatically be linked to the bands we will end up receiving as part of the resort booking we will be making in the near future? Just don't want to buy the tickets and be SOL because I bought tickets before I booked a resort didn't book the resort stay first.

Also, my understanding from all these posts is that even though I may put a 2016 date as the "redemption date" when purchasing, that only matters if I was going to physically pick the tickets up. But since I'm linking to magic bands, the fact that it'll be a 2016 date is completely moot and irrelevant. Let me know if that is WRONG, please!

THANK YALL SO MUCH!!!!

Another random, dumb question, but I can put my name on the person redeeming versus listing one for my hubby, one for each of my young sons right?

1. No problem.
2 & 3. Forget about the MagicBands.
They don't figure into this one way or the other.
Whatever MBs you have or may have in the future will all be identically linked to whatever tickets you may now have or may buy in the future.
When you add things to your MDE account, all of your MBs will automatically link to those things.
4. Moot.

Do you plan to link to MDE? If yes, then name doesn't matter.
If you plan to pick up tickets then name does matter. The person who's name is on the voucher must be the one to pick up the tickets.

I ordered my tickets and last night and just got the same e-mail. Not too worried about it since it emphasized the price was locked in, but def still hoping to get the codes to link up sooner rather than later just for peace of mind! :) Appreciate all the insight and information on this thread, thanks everybody!

They seemed to indicate it was just going to be a delay by a few days, so maybe hold out a few more days and hopefully they'll come through (knock on wood)?

You should be fine but there is a quicker way if you are concerns. Did you get the email with the vouchers with the EX codes under the bar code?

If you have those and you do not get the confirmations codes from PS within 3 days you can try and call Disney direct. 407-566-4985 option 5 for ticketing. You can give them the EX codes and if they have them they will give you the confirmation codes you need for MDE.

I had the same concern. I ordered my tickets through PS on Thursday June 30th and my FP+ window was Tuesday July 5th. I emailed PS and they said due to the weekend and Holiday they would prob not email the codes to me until the 5th but suggested I call Disney direct. I called Sunday the 3rd and they had the codes for me. I had them linked to my MDE in 5 minutes after that.

Hope that helps. The savings from PS are hard to beat.

Ok, great! I haven't gotten that email yet but hopefully I will soon and then I will call. If I don't get any of this by the 11th I will just cancel these tickets and get them thru Disney in time for the 12th I guess.

I ordered 2 of my tickets on July 1st got the voucher that afternoon and received my codes on the 5th since it was a holiday weekend. I think you will be fine by the 10th.

i ordered the tickets on the 5th and got the same email. Assuming they don't work on the weekend, i wouldn't be so sure that you're going to get the tickets by the 12th.

actually, i'm wrong (happily), i got my vouchers today

I usually buy my tickets from Orlando Fun Tickets. They have a 4 Day for $219

Ordered my tickets Saturday. Had the vouches about an hour & a half after ordering. Got my Disney confirmation numbers about 6:45 tonight. Had them linked to MDE within 5 minutes. Then had an immediate email from Disney Destinations saying I had successfully linked a ticket. Everything looks good! Just in time for making my fastpassess tomorrow!
