Hi,
We are off to Orlando on tuesday 12th (this month) and are out there for 3 weeks staying in a villa in emerald island, Kissimee..

We have the following park tickets:
7-day WDW premium ticket
Plus 5 bonus days at either Blizzard Beach. Typhono Lagoon, Disney Quest and Disney Wide World of Sports (Ticket expires 14days after first day of use)

Universal 4 park Orlando Flex-Ticket: 14 consecutive days to Universal Studios, Islands of adventure, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild.
Plus Pirate dinner adventure and Arabian nights Orlando dinner show.

Discovery cove (booked for the 28th of july)
Plus the free 7 consecutive days at Busch Gardens.

How would you do this?? As its our first time we're not sure where to go first and which parks to take full adavantage of and which ones we could do in a day or so!

Family ages are:
Mum and Dad
Kids: 15, 14, 12, 10

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Kirstin

I would go for something like this...

12th - arrive, find villa, get supplies from supermarket, bring home takeaway - bed!

13th - you will be up early, so I would grab some breakfast and head over to Sea World. Its a nice gentle start with a couple of big rides to get you in the mood! Jet lag will kick in late afternoon early evening, so leave the park when you are tired, have a meal on I-drive on your way home (I suggest Race Rock or Bahama Breeze ;) ).

14th - Islands Of Adventure

15th - Wet n Wild -Evening - one of your dinner shows

16th - Universal Studios

17th - Rest Day / shopping / mini golf etc

18th - Start your WDW tickets and head to Magic Kingdom

19th - Blizzard Beach

20th - Animal Kingdom / possibly Disney Quest in the evening

21st - Back to Islands of Adventure or Universal

22nd - Epcot - Innoventions area - evening - Down Town Disney

23rd - Typhoon Lagoon am - dinner show - pm

24th - MGM Studios

25th - Sea World or Wet n Wild or both!

26th (last day of your flex ticket) so any park you feel you need to revisit

27th - Epcot - World Showcase

28th - Discovery Cove

29th - Rest Day

30th - Busch Gardens

31st - Any Disney Park

1st - Revisit your favourite parks / shopping

2nd - home

This is only a rough guide obviously, but it might give you a start. Judging by the ages of your kids Im assuming they would prefer to start the holiday with the "thrill" parks rather than the Disney Parks, though you could easily swap the start dates of the WDW tickets and the Flex tickets.

Remember, all the shopping malls, mini golf, Down Town Disney etc are all open late, so you can fit those in around the parks.

Be flexible and make family desicions on what to do on your "rest days". It will be hard to accomodate EVERYONE, but try to make sure even the youngest child has a say!

Parks that will probably only require 1 day would be Animal Kingdom / MGM and Sea World, though you can revisit any of them as there is quite a bit of flexibility in the plan. Epcot, IOA and Magic Kingdom will probably require 2 days (though MK is quite possible on a quiet day to get it all done in one hit).

Good luck!

The important thing is to plan. Have a look at askdaisy.net, under park updates there is a section on the parks busiest, average and quieter days. I would try to schedule visits on the quieter days.
