Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

These are complete guesses but are the sections Lion, Warthog, Merrcat, and Hyena?

Karen... I'll take a guess..... Warthogs, Elephants, Lions and.... Giraffes (my favorite amimal ;) )

:p

Morning all:wave:

Karen is it ... Lions and Tigers and Bears ... oh my;)

Distriv, you got two sections: Warthog and Lion

CA got section 3, elephants

and Mbabe comes in with the fourth section (and a fully complete and correct answer) of giraffes. So the four sections are:

Warthog, Lion, Elephant, and Giraffe.

A roaring AAQ to Distiv, CA, and Mbabe

Jen, you get the "you make me laugh" award this morning :)

Since we are on the subject of the Festival of the Lion King, where and when would we have first seen the four animal floats used in the show?

Probably an easy one, but I didn't know this until just recently.

Karen glad to bring some sunshine ... even if it is only the liquid variety ... to your Friday;)

Distriv were the floats first used in the Broadway production of "Lion King"?

Karen how about Hyena? As in Laughing Hyenas:p

/
Sorry CD ... I confused you and Distriv:( Blame it on the pre-vacation laundry syndrome:p

Are the floats from The Legend of the Lion King in MK?

No problem Jen :)

You are correct that the floats were used in the Lion King Celebration parade, but they did not come from the Magic Kingdom. Rather they came from Disneyland, but close enough.

So, a celebratory AAQ to DisneyJen.

We have the 'where.' Now for the 'when.' Anyone know the timeframe when the Lion King Celebration parade ran?

Good morning everyone :)

How are we doing on this Friday?? :)

Hmmm...I'm guessing the parade ran from somewhere between 1995 and 1997....but be careful...this is teetering on a DL question...don't want to see the Black Monorail streaking up to the CC...:)

But ths SP have ruled that DL questions are allowed if they directly relate to a WDW question...since this is a continuation...they have said it's OK...:p

The parade ran in Disneyland from July 1, 1994 through June 27, 1997.

An approaching black monorail AAQ to Higgs

I rationalized this question as being about the Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom. See what happens when you rationalize? :)

LOL...you're fine CD...we like rationalization here...:p

OK...easy question since I am going away for the weekend (first person to answer gets the AAQ...
Where in WDW can you find an advertisment for "Mission to Mars:Fact or Fiction?"

Have a good one....off to Cape Cod for the weekend (though I may check in again before I leave...you never know :))

:sunny: Good Morning PG Players!

Higgs... is that from Alien Encounter?

Since I am having my first DCoke of the day.... and I don't like to drink alone ;).... I have breakfast beverages for all...Enjoy :p

LOL...you got it MBabe...and I'll join you in a drink as I head out for the weekend :)

Good Morning All:sunny:!
*looks outside at another dark, raining, Philly day*
Another day of great weather here.

Jen, have you been dipping into the magic cooler a litte early today;)?

Distriv it's the rain ... everything is cloudy;)

Looks like we are waiting on some confirmation on a couple of questions so if someone wants to toss out a softball go on ahead:)

OK, here's an easy but amusing one, not counting "falling out of a boat by accident", or a fountain, name one place in each of the four parks where you might get (at least a little bit) wet.

CoasterA..... I'll guess ....

MK....Splash Mountian, Donald's boat. Jungle Cruise, IASW (if Higgs is there splashing again :p )

MGM... Backlot Tour, VOTLMM

AK... Kali River Rapids, ITTBAB

Epcot... Maelstrom

:smooth:

I'll give it a shot:

MK- Splash Mountain
AK- Kali River Rapids
MGM- Great Movie Ride (get dripped on by the alien)
Epcot- Ice Station Cool (ice spray in the freezer section)
