Parks Game! Part 5...Keep Playing! Resistance is Futile!

A baked potato AAQ to Brer Karen:smooth: It is a great place to grab something to eat any time of the day:)

Looks like you are up:smooth:

Higgsi you are right ... there was a trail of green feathers from Storm Along Bay to the International Gateway;)

Well, looks like a lot of added answers to the play area question...great job everyone!!! And Higgs...you got the one that stumped the experts the last time...that Splash Mountain one.

So far:

Boneyard at AK (Pixie)
HISTKids at MGM (Pixie)
Donald's Boat at MK (MBabe)
Play fountains at EPCOT (Carpediz)
The ship at NORWAY (Carpediz)
The drums at the AFRICAN SPOT in EPCOT (I don't know this one, but it "sounds" good ;) ....Carpediz)
All of the Baby care centers have play areas (Well, okay...I'll give you this one so the Semantics Police don't haul me off!...Carpediz)
Tom sawyer Island (Carpe)
Splash Mountain Briar Patch (Higgs)

Carpe....Conservation station is really not a "play" area. More like Innoventions.

I've got two more play areas on my list. I'm sure I'll get at least a warning from one of the SP officers, but what the heck! :p

Granny, Granny, Granny…why do you risk the black monorail??? LOL
Isn’t there another play area geared to toddlers in Toontown fair? Being childless myself, I don’t frequent the play areas…but I think I remember reading about this one in a guidebook….

Hi everyone!
Granny: What about the diving suits in The Living Seas where you can manipulate the arms etc.?

Granny, are you looking for play areas in the 4 major parks, or are you including the water parks as well?

Does Global Neighborhood at Epcot count as a playground?

Granny…does the little coin-operated boats near the Jungle Cruise count???
Other than that…the only other thing I can really think of is the giant misting station near the Lunching Pad in Tommorowland…

Granny..... How about Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon and Tike's Peak at Blizzard beach?

:wave:Welcome home JWill:wave:

Someone want to cash in an AAQ card as Granny may take a while to get back to confirm the answers.

BTW…I totally forgot about a question I asked yesterday about Jim Henson in Muppetvision…a long-delayed AAQ to gometros…there is a muppet made to look like Jim Henson pictured in the pre-show area…
Sorry about the delay…I just forgot that one was out there….

I'll turn that new AAQ right in and toss one out to keep the game moving.

Name the sit down restaurants in each of the countries in the World Showcase, including which country they are in.

Granny.... Is there a playground somewhere at Camp Minnie Mickey?

Br'er Karen....WS Resturants...

San Angel Inn - Mexico
Rose & Crown - UK
Nine Dragons - China
Marrakesh - Morocco
L'Original Alfredo di Roma - Italy
Biergarten - Germany

:p

Br'er Karen... Oh and...

Akershus - Norway
Le Cellier - Canada

:smooth:

Hey...I got the last one
Le Chefs de France...in Norway....

OK...just kidding...it's really in France...just wanted to see if you were paying attention...:p

Higgs, you're such a jokester!

Okay, Mbabe, you've got 8 of them. Higgs got one more with Le Chefs de France. But there is one more left.

Karen...you're not counting the food area in the American Adventure are you?

Oh wait a minute...it's the one in Japan...but I don't know the name...How about a blind guess of Tepenyaki???? (SP?)

Br'er Karen.... Isn't there another one in France? A Bistro? ...and the one in Japan.... I don't know the name... I want to say Mitsubishi, but I think all you can order from them is cars  :p :p

There are 2 in Japan...
Yakitori House and Mitsukoshi

There ya go Higgs! Edible AAQ's to MBabe and Higgs. And Mbabe, I tend to think "Mitsubishi" when I see "Mitsukoshi" too!

Okay....dragging my question forward from a couple of pages back:

Name the various play areas in the WDW theme parks.

Notice the words "theme parks"...I put those in there to avoid the water parks and resorts. I'm in enough trouble with the PG Semantics Police without going outside of the parks today!!

I'm looking for running around, climbing, jumping kind of play areas.

Jwill....sorry, but the diving suit at Living Seas isn't a play area. I'd normally give you this one, but too many people are watching!

lacool....I don't know what Global Neighborhood at Epcot is, so I can't really tell if that's a play area. My guess is that it's not, but I'll listen to any appeals of that decision. :p

Higgs.....no, the coin-operated boats don't qualify as play areas....but I'll have to give you the misting stations throughout the parks since I've seen a lot of kids running and playing in them.

And Higgs....I debated about the play area in Toontown and I'm going to say that there is not another play area there that I'm aware of....though Minnie's Country House is kind of a play area. But not under the definition I gave the PGSP for this question...sorry.

So we've got the following play areas:

Boneyard at AK (Pixie)
HISTKids at MGM (Pixie)
Donald's Boat at MK (MBabe)
Play fountains at EPCOT (Carpediz)
The ship at NORWAY (Carpediz)
The drums at the AFRICAN SPOT in EPCOT (I don't know this one, but it "sounds" good ....Carpediz)
All of the Baby care centers have play areas (Well, okay...I'll give you this one so the Semantics Police don't haul me off!...Carpediz)
Tom sawyer Island (Carpe)
Splash Mountain Briar Patch (Higgs)
Various misting stations (Higgs)

I can think of one other area that I'm defining as a play area.

I have a lunchtime question...

Name the 12 Spirits of America depicted in the American Adventure theatre and the the type of American depicting each spirit.

:)

I would like to take a moment to send prayers and pixie dust to all who have freinds and family that may be in harms way today. To all of our Military and their families I would like to say thank you for your dedication to keeping our world free.

And to you PG Players... our little game here has provided me with a necessary diversion today. Thank you all.
